I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

I had been to Panorama and I liked their care. Both my dad and my stepmom were there and they got excellent care. They were always clean. The lunchroom was great. It was clean and had a great cooking staff. I was surprised at the variety of the menu. The physical therapy and occupational therapy were wonderful. My stepmom participated in their exercise classes.

Panorama was wonderful. We looked at the assisted living area, but I haven't heard back from them yet. Communication was good up until just recently. The people have been great so far. I've been to the facility twice now, but I've only really talked to the admin. I haven't dealt with the people who work with the elderly people there. The admin has been fine, but I haven't gotten word back yet. They've got social hours, music, activities, game times, and weekly shopping trips.

I visited this facility

We had a complete tour of Panorama's facilities, and the possible activities were explained to us. The person that we met spent a very adequate time explaining everything to us. We had been familiar with the facility itself because both my wife's parents and mine had stayed there a long time ago, and we felt very well accepted. There was ample time to answer questions that we had, and we felt very comfortable with it. The facility was laid out over quite a few acres with standalone houses, duplexes, and fourplexes. They've got a lot of green grass, flowers, paths, and roads that you can walk on. They have a full exercise room, a swimming pool, a theater, clubs that you can belong to, trips, and a garden that people sign up for plots that they can plant and take care of. So, there's quite a large opportunity to be involved at some level, according to your interest.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My Mother moved into Panorama in independent living in 2003. As she aged we moved her into the Quinalt so she was closer to the activities. She had given up her car and needed to be closer to the activities and restaurant. Once she could no longer care for herself the doctor wanted her in assisted living. To make her monies last longer, we moved her out after being there for 10 years to an other assisted living facility. That was a mistake. We moved her into an apartment with a friend and I setup her pills, she had better care there than the assisted living. When she fell and broke her hip she ended up a Panorama Rehab and Convalescent Center. She recovered well but knew she needed more than I could give so Panorama let her come back and she stayed in the Convalescent Center. All I can say is WOW. What wonderful caring staff. It is worth the monies by far to know your loved one is cared for. Thank you Panorama for employing people who care.

Panorama was gorgeous, but it was too expensive. The person that assisted us was very professional and very good. Everyone was very happy there.

Panorama is a continuing care retirement community that has standalone homes, multiplexes, apartments, and assisted living. It has a great, big campus of many acres. People and staff are very friendly, and residents range from very active to not active. They don't have a dining room or restaurant.

I am/was a resident of this facility

Have been living here almost 6 years. It has just about everything one could want. I am very happy here and plan to stay. I have logged into places in AZ as my son and family live down there but I am not a desert person and prefer it up here. Panorama has independent living, which I live in a house now, but they also have a Care Unit and Long Term health Care. I feel very comfortable and secure living here and can do as many activities as I want or do nothing, my choice. They have two indoor pools, and several exercise rooms, many hobby rooms, and auditorium which not only has speakers but movie nights and afternoons. There are tours to go on and a restaurant, a gift shop, small grocery store - who will delivery groceries and a pharmacy which will also deliver. With so many activities one should never be bored.

We chose Panorama mainly because of its continuum of care. They have onsite an assisted living facility and retirement apartments. They have a full nursing home, and they have a million activities. I would enjoy walking on the western trail. I would enjoy games, and there are lots of different organization and clubs. It is just wonderful. As for the food, it was very healthy with a lot of salads and a wonderful menu. The one that I selected is a two bedroom duplex with a beautiful interior.

Panorama seems to be very well maintained. They have over 1000 people, and it has a variety of different living arrangements, which is attractive. The living units are very comfortable. They range from one-bedroom apartments to three-bedroom and homes are on a lake. I have eaten there. The dining area is a very nice restaurant, the meals are reasonably priced, they have a menu, and the room is set up so that Alzheimer's patients can come in and have a meal.

Panorama was a very nice facility, but it just felt too large I think for my uncle. They had individual houses you could buy. They have a pretty impressive pool and it’s all very clean. The staff was very good and professional.

I am/was a resident of this facility

My wife passed away about six months ago, but we have lived here at the Panorama for about ten years. I live in the independent living section and I am rather content here. One of the main things I like is that you feel independent because they take care of all the grounds for you and you don't have to worry about anything. Everything is taken care of for you and I think it is great. The only negative thing is that if someone likes to sleep in in the morning, sometimes they have this big lawn mower which is loud and annoying, I have to say that. If I would have to say anything negative about the Panorama that would be the only thing. The rest of it, I would say is all positive. We have a swimming pool and an auditorium here. We have all kinds of exercises that you can participate in, from Zumba to chair exercises for people who can't do much. To me, this is the ideal place for a person who is retired. I am really happy here. We are more independent here, but if you need help, you can get it. It is good here.

I visited Panorama City. I know about this facility because I have a number of friends and acquaintances who live there. It was an excellent facility but quite expensive. The staff was fine. They have fairly extensive activities for their residents. For accommodations, they have the typical freestanding duplex or separate lodging. They also have an apartment building.

I visited this facility

Panorama City was pretty impressive. The facility itself looked perfect. It was one of these places you buy into when you go there. It was a clean place for sure. It was very nice. At this community, you can go from being completely independent to complete nursing care. I had a friend who was there and she died there. She started out living in an apartment, which had an entrance out to the courtyard but it also had a door into the hallway in the building. You can go to lunch right from that without ever going outside. Her bedroom was pretty skimpy, but she had access to this big nice room within the facility where you can go and visit people. I presumed you can visit people in there. This room was beautiful. They had a really nice place where you can go and visit. It was like a living room for the whole place. It was very attractive. Regarding activities, this community was so big that there were a number of groups that you can take part in.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

Items of my relative, a patient here, were stolen. This included a large range of items. There was a glove from one of the staff members there, and they seemed disinclined to work towards solving the matter. The staff was not proactive in general and seemed apathetic.
