I visited the center and at first I was very pleased with the center , but then I had a few questions and when asking employees they were not very pleasent, they went and got the director that was on duty and she wasn't understanding I'm accusing my question or what ever it was plus she was in a hurry , but to say the least she was rude from start to finish with me talking down to me and maybe it was her culture I'm not for sure ! But I wouldn't recommend any of my friends or family to cine to this center, at first there nice but behind closed doors it's a different story. I also had a inter action with the afternoon gentleman on duty for the evening that just though what he said went, he wasn't understanding my question he basically was his way or no way .. And most of the staff I seen there was acting as though they were busy when I was walking by but there were all so busy in convosations among there selfs and personal convo at that. Residents would be hollering help, help and anything in general and they employees would walk by as if they didn't hear them ! So I would say don't take your love one to this center because they are nice to you or your family members to your face but behind those close doors it's a different story !!!! And if I could post a NO STAR REVIEW WITH NON I WOULD BUT I HAVE TO PUT AT LEAST 1 STAR & THE CENTER looks great it's what goes on after is what u need to be careful about

Between my mother-in-law and my own mother I have been to 6 assisted living places and I can say this one has been the best! This is the first facility that I have been to, which is actually investing in hiring more staff to take care of the residents. Yes, the place looks dated and needs a brush up. However, I would rather for them to spend money on care, as they are doing now, versus spending it on making the place look pretty. They not only check up on the residents regularly, but make sure that you as a visitor is taken care of as well. They make you feel you are part of a big family. Ryan, the manager is there at all hours and makes sure everything is running smoothly and Alverna the marketing director is just AMAZING!!! She does whatever that needs to be done and then some, and is like the energizer bunny. I don't think I have ever seen her to take a rest.

Amerisist was smallish in terms of number of occupants. The space we moved my parents into was a partner space, so they had two bedrooms, a living space, and a bathroom. It looked like it was going to work out, but then it didn't. What impressed me most was there was a fewer number of people, and they appeared to take care of everyone they had. The staff was very nice, and the grounds are very nice. It's right off the main road, and the signage is good in terms of letting you know where you've arrived. It was a good facility.

Amerisist was nice, but the look was not worth the price they're asking. We saw a couple of residents and engaged in some conversations. The director seemed to know some of the residents. They offered some activities, trips to the store, and outings. They had a nice dining hall.

Amerisist is not wonderful, but it's close to home, so I can be there several times a day. It was best to have my mom as close to home as possible. The staff has been good, and the dining area is decent. My mom's room is OK. It's not the ideal place, but it was the closest and fastest thing I could find at the time. It's not a beautiful, grand place, but it does the trick for what we need.

I had to place my husband at Amerisist in a hurry, and, so far, it’s been good. The people are nice, and they take care of him well. The dining room is bright and cheery, and the food is home-cooked. I have eaten and enjoyed it. They don’t have as many activities as I would like to see them have, but I think that may change. They were the ones who were available at the time I needed assistance.
