I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My father is Raymond Hardy, I am his daughter, he is 102. He feel and broke his hip. He is getting the best care. They lose his teeth and they are being replaced by Roman Eagle. Food is really good and so is his Rehab.

My mama was at Roman Eagle Memorial Home. The care was fine. They took very good care of her. I wouldn't say the room was spacious, but it was adequate because she was in the room with another person. She liked the food very much.

Roman Eagle Memorial Home is a well-run facility. They tried to accommodate the residents and provide good care for them. They just don't have a lot of activities and I think they need more than what they have. They also need to improve on odor control.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

I went there to see a relative,at first I was concerned because of all of the bad things you hear. But I found out that not only do they provide care, but they also provide therapy,on site doctor care, timely meals, and activities to keep the patients occupied and entertained, they have a huge facility now as more has been added on,and they have also added a lot more staff, which is a good thing because some of them actually care about the patients not just about the job,I personally think that it does not take the place of in home car,but if the situation requires a facility the best thing to do is research and go into them and get a first hand bird's eye view of what they do and how they treat the patients and of course get to know the staff

I am a friend or relative of a resident

I visited my mother daily while she was in Roman Eagle. The only consistant really good thing about her stay there is that it was clean. This includes her room and bathroom as well as the hallways, the waiting area and the visitor restrooms. However, the quality of care there was horrible. She had one nurse that seemed to stay on top of things. The rest of them constantly forgot to see to her getting her medication on time. The delay would usually be about two hours! Also, the aides were very rough with her when it came to helping to clean her up or assist her in moving. It became so bad that my family insisted they not touch her again after the second occurrence of her hitting her falling when they were supposed to be helping her to the restroom. I do not recommend this nursing home in any way due to the obvious lack of competence of over 90% of the staff.
