I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

I would not recommend unless your ok with your love one being spoken too as if they are less than. Not meeting their day needs or waiting over 2 hours to walk pt to restroom. They told the pt not to get up on their own.. missing medication doses. Documentation saying was given and it wasnt. Pt had been wonderful.. it is a shame they cant get the nursing staff to be as good as pt/ot. Extra help would be a place to start. But dosen't fix all the issues..

I am/was a resident of this facility

From having a bad and painful experience that left able me feeling "down and out" I met some of nicest, compasionate care givers I had the priviledge to meet. When I arrived at Stanleytown RehabCenter I was greeted by a CNA who had a pleasant and a great big grin and she made me feel welcome. The facility was exceedingly clean and I felt a huge relief. Little did I know what lay ahead rThe next day I was taken down to physical therapy. There Imeet. met some of the most friendly and professional caregivers a person would want to meet. Over the next 'week or so I developed some new friends that I will never forget. Their smiling faces and encouraging word enabled me to come out of a dark shell and proceded to recovery from my MI. I cannot thank these people enough. I would encourage anyone who may have a need to undergo rehab and physical therapy to chose Stanleytown Health and Rehabilitation Center.I was fortunate enough to not only get the best care possible as well as make some new friends that I will never forget. Thanks to everyone!!!

3 years ago this was the best of the best but the care has gone down hill fast. CNA's are over worked and overwhelmed to say the least. Care of the patient should be number one but they are really slacking. On many occasions, my friend, the patient has been neglected. It is a shame that such a great facility has gone down so fast. Their reputation has been ruined in this area. Food is another problem very poor quality compared to 3 years ago.

Stanleytown Health & Rehab has good rehab service. They're excellent. The nurses and aides are fine most of the time, but they're understaffed so sometimes the people who are supposed to wait on my husband are slow. He would have occupational therapy and physical therapy once a day. I think they do the best they can, and the food is excellent.

I am a friend or relative of resident

I am very disappointed in this facility. My mother was released against her surgeon's orders. Medication errors that took weeks to correct. Some of the staff, including administration didn't seem to care at all about doctor and family concerns. They have some things going for them, but sending someone home before they are ready outweighs all the good. This facility needs to re-think the way they are doing business!

I am a friend or relative of a resident

Stanleytown was supposed to be one of the best ones, but it was not. I didn't like this facility at all. The staff wasn't friendly. My mother takes Xanax, and instead of them just giving her one, she had to beg for it. That's what I didn't like. They need to improve on their attitude. I have never in my life been anywhere you have to beg for the medicine. It should be a routine thing. But they told my mother, "you have to sit here and beg for this medicine," and it made my mother so sick she ended up in the hospital the next day.

This facility is overall a great place. They try extremely hard to make there patients and family members feel at home. The facility is very clean and the staff is very friendly. My grandmother has been a patient at Stanleytown for about 3 months. I never have to worry that she is being taken care of. Stanleytown also houses a rehabilitation facility that treats patients recovering from various injuries and traumas. The positive energy and devotion of the rehab staff is an inspiration. While my grandmother has been at Stanleytown I have been able to whitness firsthand how dedicated the staff of the rehab department are and have been amazed at how much her physical strength and mental awareness has improved. I would recommend Stanleytown Healthcare to anyone who was looking for a nice, clean, and safe place for their loved one.
