Treeo - Orem got my sister in immediately. It is a wonderful and very welcoming place. One of the things that we loved was when we brought her there, the general manager spoke to my sister, not to me nor my brother. It was obvious that she was welcomed, and we were secondary (which was great). To me, it was what we were looking for. They call us if there's something they're worried about with her. They have been so caring. It's central to a lot of places. Even though they have service to drive places and take them to other appointments, there's a huge grocery store that's 300 steps from the facility, a pharmacy, a medical facility, a dental facility on a different side, a church center, and they're on a free bus line that goes all through the town. It's clean and bright. So, it's absolutely fantastic. Everything is served restaurant style. If she isn't well, they bring it to her room and she can order ahead of time. They don't charge any extra for that, which is really nice. The food is fantastic. If you have allergies, they're very cautious about that. They have a whole gluten free menu, too. The rooms are like a five-star hotel. They're beautiful. They keep it very updated and fresh. Before she moved in, they repainted and recarpeted her room. They cleaned up everything, and they do that for every person that's moving in. When she brought her TV, they mounted it for her. It has free cable and all the utilities come with their package. They have seven different activities a day. They go over to the community center if you want to go swimming and do water aerobics. They do crafts, have family nights, and several services for different religious groups on Saturdays and Sundays. They have a live theater, outings, field trips, and lots of things they do together to keep everybody involved. She is absolutely making friends easily, because they have enough activities and support for people that want to participate and have a community. The staff is wonderful. They definitely cater to you as individuals and every staff member knows your name. If you don't check in, they come and verify that you're safe. They do that twice a day because everyone's at a different level of care. I live in Seattle, so I'm far away from her and she just calls and tells me how she feels like winning the lottery, just by being in that place. She can't believe there's a place like it and it wasn't any more expensive than any of the other places.

Treeo Orem was beautiful. I loved it. They're independent living. It was much newer. It was more expensive than others, so I didn't think it was worth it. The staff was lovely and everything there was lovely. The food was delicious and was wonderful restaurant quality.

Treeo Orem was bigger than the other place we visited. What they promote a lot is square foot gardening. You can have a little garden of your own and you can have your own beans, onions, and whatever else you want.

My wife and I will be moving into Treeo Orem in 2 months. We looked at several places and they topped the list. You can get in the shower really easy and there's a place to sit down in there. It has independent and assisted living. It's modern and clean. Their calendar is full, and includes movies, Bingo, and people even come in and sing. They don't offer lunch, but you can buy it. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We really like Treeo Orem. The staff is very friendly, very helpful, and great. The grounds are very well maintained. My husband is in a studio apartment that is adequate for what he needs and can do. He brought his own furniture in. He is served breakfast and dinner only and loves the food. The dining area is set up so that he can sit with different people and meet quite a few residents.

Treeo Orem is independent living, so it's not so structured, and I like the fact that they have a buffet breakfast, and your lunch wasn't included, but they start dinner at 4:00 and you can choose from a menu. For lunch, they did have an open kitchen if you wanted to order. I liked the fact that it had a complete kitchen with a tiny little dishwasher and a washer and dryer. The appeal of the place is really nice because it's open and sunny, and they offer something to do constantly like yoga, the bus takes you to places, and they just have a lot going on all the time. They have a menu of things to do every day. Everything about it very nice.

The place I’ve been most interested in recently is Treeo Orem. It’s only three years old and just celebrating their second anniversary. It’s nicely located across from a park and next to a church where my wife and I would be attending if we were living there. Independent living is their main feature, but they do have a nursing staff and emergency coverage. They have one-bedrooms of two different sizes, two-bedrooms of two different sizes, and a studio, so there’s quite a variety on four levels. They charge a little extra per month for the ground floor because of the patios and the fourth level because of the views and decks. The rooms were smaller than what I would like. There were nice common area outside in the back. What I liked about them was that they provide a lot of on-site educational opportunities and lots of outside activities with transportation available. I met with some of the residents and had a nice visit with them last week. Both of them had been in other places and would not go back where they were because they prefer Treeo, which was encouraging. It’s a nice feeling. They served breakfast and supper as part of the monthly charge. They don’t cover lunch but had a little restaurant open to the public, so friends could join you and buy lunch. All of the rooms had little kitchenettes or full-service kitchens to prepare your own lunch if you desire.

Treeo was a very new place with very nice common areas and modern, nicely laid out apartments. The menu in the dining room looked good. They have full kitchens, and two meals come with the rent. The activities and exercise rooms all looked good. We talked to some of the staff and residents who were all very nice.

I was impressed with the staff at Treeo Orem. They knew my name and used it. They answered our questions. We felt like we had not only found a place to live, but that we had met some friends in the process. The food was good. It wasn’t home-style, but it was good. However, the distance from the car to my room was too far. I had to walk quite a length to get to my room. I have foot problems, so that was a little difficult for me. That is the only bad thing I can think of, but everything else was just wonderful.

My parents love Treeo Orem. It's great, the price is good, and the people are friendly. It has everything they need. The food is great, and we chose it because they had a two-bedroom with a kitchen. They take them to the temple once a month, and there are lots of activities to choose from. They even have a garden in the back for the residents.

Treeo Orem had everything. They had exercise rooms. The food was very nice, and the dining area was very convenient and open. You could hold a conversation without having to yell.

My father-in-law stayed at Treeo for quite a while. If somebody is in a position to afford to stay at a price like that, that would be great.
