Assisted Living Reviews for Lotus Park Assisted Living & Memory Care

I visited this facility

Lotus Park Care was very nice. They showed us a cottage where they had a kitchen on each side of it. The actual bedrooms were a little bit smaller than what my brother-in-law would have to take because of his income. They had bigger rooms, but they were not covered by Medicaid. The part that they showed us was like a regular house, but they also had regular rooms. It was a privately-owned facility. They had excellent activities. They cook in the main dining room for the people that live in the outer apartments. They deliver the food and eat family style. That didn't appeal to him. They had a group of people and they all go to one kitchen -- they had to add another table because they all like to be in the same kitchen together for meal. They had a fairly large dining area with a very nice back patio. It's more spacious. We met two or three of the residents, and they seemed very nice and very comfortable there. The director was on a first name basis with them. I didn't have any complaints. They made a mistake of showing him the bigger room, but I think it would've been fine for him to have the smaller room. The bathrooms were fine.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My father is in Lotus Park right now. I think they are doing a good job, and the facility is only a couple of years old. Generally speaking, it has been a good experience. The staff is pretty good. They have been really good to my father. I will definitely recommend them to others. They have different crafts that they do. They have an exercise room, and they have television. I know they take them to places. They have apartments, and it is all on one level floor. It is spacious and nice.
