Actually my mother-in-law's step-son was the one who chose Terrace Grove. It is very clean and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. She is very happy there. The rooms are nice and roomy. She has everything she needs there. There is a gym facility just across the little walkway. They take her there for her exercise and rehabilitation. They are very friendly, and she loves to go there. She loves to have her workout. It seems to be a nice facility all the way around.

This building has been remolded and if you are there for therapy you get to stay in the newer area, but if not, you have to live in the dingy classic nursing home area. It is run down and you can tell the building is very old. The staff complain all the time there isnt enough of them to get their work done. There are a some long time, dedicated staff, but the nursing staff has an extremely high turn over. They always seem to be in a hurry and bothered if you ask for something extra. The activities are okay, and they have music therapy which seems to be a bright spot for so many people. The cost is very expensive and despite being non-profit, and giving a lot of charity, of have heard lots of sad stories regarding the costs. I would like to hear stories that match their advertisements and claims.

This facility is part of a "campus" with buildings right across the street from each other. I have several friends that live in the building that are a little more Independent, but still need some assistance. It surprises me how many people here should be in their full scale nursing facility. It seems more like a nursing home, especially at meal times. The building is your average building. I think the only reason it bothers me is because they really push the community for donations, but their facilities are very expensive, and don't necessarily match the what they promise in their commercials.

Sunshine Terrace is very wonderful at working with us, and they help us in any way that they would although they seemed to be a little more sedentary. They brought her meals to her -- the food was OK -- and mom loved it. The people were very caring and loving, and it was wonderful.

The staff seem to care about the residents of this facility. The facility is well staffed and the workers seem to enjoy assisting and spending time with the residents at Sunshine Terrace. The residents seem generally happy and satisfied with their care. The food seems to be well planned and well prepared. I am impressed with the rooms at sunshine terrace. They provide for the basic needs of the residents. Sunshine terrace is kept clean and family and friends are made comfortable when visiting this establishment. The landscaping is kept up and is always in good shape. They provide medical care and shopping services for the residents. They also are good about giving medication reminders for the more forgetful residents. It is comparable in price to other similar types of providers. They offer a pay as you go plan. They also do housekeeping for the residents to assist keep the rooms in good and clean shape.

I was very impressed with the staff at sunshine terrace. There were very friendly both to patients and visitors and they were very knowledgeable when it came to their patients and their ailments. The nurses that worked with both of my grandparents were very patient and always had a smile on their faces even if you could tell it had been a stressful day or that grandma or grandpa was cooperating very well. Their facilities were always very clean and calm place. Whenever it came to letting my parents know what exactly was going on with my grandparents the nurses and doctors were upfront and let us know exactly what we needed to know with beating around the bush. While it was hard to see both of my grandparents in a nursing facility and to see them in the state they were in the staff at sunshine terrace made it a lot easier on my grandparents and my family.
