I went to look at Heartis Clear Lake, but I couldn't afford it. I liked that it was very clean. I like that the tenants were all very cordial and friendly. The meals were wonderful. You had a selection every day. You weren't forced to eat the same things every day. They had wonderful food. They also had a very good activity director who kept you busy doing things that you didn't have a chance to start feeling sad or sorry for yourself or the condition that you were in. The staff was wonderful. Anything that you needed done, all you had to do was tell them. They were a good community. I wish that I had been able to get in there and stay there because it also had assisted living and memory care right there on the same property, just in different buildings. So as my illness progressed, I could have moved from one to the other without a problem.

Heartis Clear Lake was very nice. They gave us a meal and it's marvelous. The people that were in the dining area were very pleasant and introduced themselves to me and talked to me, the person in the dietary area and the kitchen came out and introduced themselves. And it was very, very nice. The apartment is nice, but the one that they had available at the time for me was just too tiny. I didn't need an efficiency apartment, I guess you would call it. But it was nice, and the one-bedroom was very nice that I've seen. They had a lot of activities, they went to different places. They have an evening where you can sit down and socialize with one another. They got a bar, they got it like a buffet style thing. The staff said that if you were hungry, wanted a snack, you could come downstairs and get it. I liked it.

I was very impressed with Heartis Clear Lake, but it was very expensive. They had a theater, a library, and laundry was included. They offered all the meals. They had people come to the facility with animals. It was a nice facility. The woman that I met during the tour was wonderful. She was very good.

Heartis Clear Lake gave a nice presentation. They had a 2-bedroom apartment with four rooms in it, which were the two bedrooms, the living room, and the kitchen area. They have people that come in and clean your room once a week. I had lunch there, and the food was very good. They had a movie theater, bingo nights, poker nights, and different activities for different nights. The staff were very friendly and answered all the questions. They were good.

Heartis Clear Lake is kind of a new place, but it was well kept. The staff was friendly, kind, and courteous, but it was a tad bit over my price range. They played a lot of games there. They had the regular exercise routine that they do on a daily basis in a certain room. They had a piano there that anybody could play. They had book clubs there.

My mom moved into Heartis Clear Lake. They have well-managed people who seem to actually care about what they're doing, and they perform their job well every day. My mom's room is very clean, orderly, and well-kept. The staff members are very professional. They do what they say they're going to do, and they're very accountable. They have arts, singing, and horticulture.

I visited Heartis Clear Lake, and I thought it was good. The rooms were nice, and there were a variety of different floor plans. It was pretty close to lunchtime when we were there, so I saw people congregating together and eating lunch. Their dining area was nice, plenty big enough, and clean. They had patios and balconies, where people could have plants or whatever. They showed me everything. I saw a gym, the room where they have movie nights, and different rooms people can gather in when playing cards or whatever. They had a library, and people could play puzzles together.

My in-laws moved in at Heartis Clear Lake. I like the fact that it didn't have as many units as some of the other places. They're on the first floor, which is very convenient. It is very close to the dining room where they can have all-day dining. I know that their meal service is great. They have a beauty salon, a barber shop, a media room for movies, and a small library. The only thing that kind of detracted it was the carpeting in the halls. Other than that, there's nothing else. The place is very, very clean, and the staff is wonderful.

We have chosen Heartis Clear Lake for my parents. It was very, very clean, very friendly, and very nice. The staff was responsive and attentive. When I was there, they were engaged, and they were very friendly. The apartments were nice and clean. The cafeteria was awesome. They fed me lunch and it was good. The facility is laid out well. The amenities they offer are nice. They've got different areas set up for activities, games, and things to keep the residents entertained and occupied. The dining area was set up like a restaurant. It's a very clean, open, and bright atmosphere. They had quite a bit to select from the appetizers up to the salads and the main courses. It's just like eating in a restaurant. The waitress came out and took our order. They're very attentive. For an adult living facility, the rooms were smaller than I kind of expected. They were ample enough to provide a nice, homey and comfortable living environment for my parents once we got them in there. They were very clean and laid out well. The independent living ones have a washer and dryer and were very, very nice. The staff who toured us was very, very helpful, and very friendly and answered all my questions, and even took me back to places that I forgot. I would look at something and say, 'I don't remember that. Can you take me back?' And she would take me back. She was very humble.

We went to see Heartis Clear Lake but we did not have a good tour at all. A girl showed us around, but she didn't have any information to share concerning utilities, the average age, or the number of units, but just basic information. She didn't have any brochures for us. So I felt like if they needed one of us, they would have made an effort to provide information there. They were a little bit too far, and in terms of location in the community, it was kind of off by itself. The apartments themselves were very nice, very nice. What I liked about them is that I thought they were nice apartments. But in terms of the amenities, I was not able to identify any amenities that would help offset the fact that it was off by itself. The girl who gave us the tour was pleasant but she had no information to share. We started the tour at 11:00, I scheduled it close to lunch so they could invite us for lunch but we weren't able to check the food there. They have all-day dining with chef-prepared entrees. The apartment has a kitchen that had full-size appliances, and included an apartment-sized washer and dryer set. The outdoor spaces weren't very big. They were arranged around a courtyard type of situation, and it wasn't as large as some of the other facilities.

My mother moved into the community last month. We chose it because it was very clean. It was new. I liked that it was one story. Some of the other ones were two stories or higher, you had to use an elevator to get to eat. Everyone was really friendly. I didn't eat the food before her moving in, but she said she likes it. The room is very nice, very clean, and new. It had a good layout. It seemed like it's easy for the tenants to move around. It's not too big, that they're too far from the dinner and others. They have a movie theater, cards, and crafts. I know she's been to the movie theater several times now. They have an in-house spa, and beauty salon where they cut their hair.

We are trying to get my in-laws into here. It had all the things that we were looking for like the meal program, the transportation, and the availability. What sold us was the particular apartment that we were looking at. It's close to the main dining area. My mother-in-law has trouble walking, so they can't be too far away from where the main facilities are, so that's kind of what sold us there. And the staff there was excellent. It hasn't been built very long. The rooms were brand new. They were excellent. We were looking for a two-bedroom-two-bath place. The maintenance was excellent. It's fairly brand new, it's well kept, and the grounds were nice. Another point was that you can age in place. If you progress into some type of dependent living, they have that available, too, and there's even a memory care place. We did try the food. It was very good, and they had a lot of options, which is what my in-laws are looking for. Normally, they don't eat three meals a day. My mother-in-law is going to turn 94 next week and my father-in-law is 91, so they don't have a big appetite. They had really good choices and a fairly easy menu to work around. They both have trouble seeing and hearing, so that's something we needed to see, whether or not it was easy to communicate with the staff and everything. They have very helpful staff. We were we were impressed. They have everything that we were looking for, and a lot of other places didn't.

I did a tour. I like the private little studio apartments and the activities there. People were up and doing some special activities in the exercise room. The little private rooms, I appreciated them, I like them. They had a shower in each room and a private toilet. They don't have shared rooms, and they had private rooms, so that's what I liked about it. They had an art room with things set up, craft supplies, and they were busy like tossing balls around and just getting some exercise like that. The dining room looked nice, with nice tables and I think they had real glassware. It was a clean facility too.

I toured the memory care side. They were very friendly and the place was very clean and inviting. The apartments were nice, but the problem was they only had a semi-private available, and I wanted private. The lady who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and very nice. No activities were going on when I visited because of COVID, but they had some of the coolest stuff, like a theater, an ice cream shop place, a barbershop, an art room, and all kinds of really cute things that they have made for the residents.

My parents are going back here. They were there for two years. They've been very happy there, they've made good friends, and they feel very safe and secure. They have a two-bedroom-two-bath, so they have plenty of room, and they have a little dog. They're very comfortable. My mom has been really active with bingo and the parties that they go to, and they do a good job keeping them involved and having activities for them.

Our overall experience with having my aunt here is very good. Her room is clean, it's a good size and has a partition which makes it seem like a private room even though it's a shared room. The staff is friendly, informative, they seem to really care about their patients. The food is very good, and the layout of the place is very good. They have a lot of activities though I have nothing to compare it to.

It was very nice and clean, it's new too and secure. The rooms were nice, also clean, and well-arranged. They had lots of activities for the residents. I saw private rooms and double rooms. I like that they had nice layouts for the rooms. The marketing person that showed me around was very nice. They had a movie room and some special areas for activities, one looked like an auto-mechanic shop and it was very nice.

They offer independent living down to memory care. And my dad started in assisted and has been transferred to memory care. The community's appearance is good and they had very nice rooms. The staff members are very helpful. The food is good, the portions are small but being in memory care, some of the residents don't have a very large appetite. The residents do some coloring, art, some music and some of the residents play catch. When they were in assisted living they also did art time, puzzles and different activities, and they have a happy hour time where they'll have popcorn and chocolate.
