Although a relatively new property, I experienced many problems. My apartment was never completely finished; paint, countertops, mini blinds etc. Patio door was useless since impossible to close &/or lock after being opened + excessive dust from nearby "mountain" that appeared to be recycled, crushed concrete. It permeated everything so couldn't even open windows in nice weather. Safety was Always an issue! Unauthorized people coming/going, mostly @ night; constant infighting between "neighbors" meant navigating around conflicts & hearing/seeing police

I visited the Orchard at Westchase, but their fee is so expensive; I can’t afford it. You had to leave a $200 deposit and wait for several months before they call your name off the list. I just don’t like having to leave money for them, not knowing if I’m going to be selected for the squad. $200 is a lot of money for an elderly person, and my budget is tight, so it’s just hard for me to leave the $200 there. I don’t see the necessity of leaving any cash. It’s not a deposit; it’s just money that’s going to be in their account. I also think that the person there is pretty nonchalant in the way she treats me. I’ve been there three different times, and each time, I didn’t feel welcome, which is partly the reason I didn’t leave the money there. She didn’t have a welcoming attitude. I didn’t meet anybody else; it was always this one lady, and she wouldn’t show me the apartment because she said they had nothing available. It’s a nice place, and I would like to live there. My main concern is over leaving the money and not having any certainty that a room will become available soon.

The rooms are absolutely beautiful at Orchard at Westchase. They're brand new and nobody has lived in the apartment I'm going to have. The staff is very pleasant and they're doing their job. It has a beautiful swimming pool, beautiful grounds, a place for my dog, and garden area. It's gated, very pleasant and very reasonable. But I think it would be better if they have assigned parking.
