Hi Kathryn, thank you for the nice review! We do however, provide dinning in a restaurant style setting. This is completely optional too, as you can choose how many meals you want, or opt out of meals all together if you do not want dinning.

Thank you for leaving a review. We appreciate your comments about the lovely appearance of our community, and can assure you that the beauty runs deeper than the surface. Our residents have formed many lasting friendships and can be seen enjoying everything from meals to the numerous activities we offer. Community is the heart of who we are. While it's true that some residents may choose to be a bit more introverted, most are friendly, social and enjoying all we have to offer each and every day!

Some nearby features include The Star, the Dallas Cowboys practice facility, with a ton of great restaurants. There's the professional soccer Hall of Fame and FC Dallas stadium. If you're into shopping, you can make a short drive to Stonebriar Mall. There are nature preserves and railroad museums, and just about anything else you could ask for.
What are some recent off-site events that the community activity director at Watermere at Frisco has organized?
We love taking trips to the casino, the symphony orchestra, and going out to the movies. We also make trips to antique shops in the area and most recently to take pictures in the bluebonnets!
What transportation services does Watermere at Frisco offer to independent living residents?
We can take you to grocery stores or running other errands, and also to doctor's appointments.

We are a secure, locked community, and there is always at least one person at the front desk during business hours. We can also offer an emergency pendant to any of our residents who are interested. This gives the ability to quickly dispatch emergency services should something happen.
If Watermere at Frisco accepts dogs or cats, what indoor/outdoor areas can they enjoy?
We feature two natural courtyards on the ground, and two rooftop courtyards on the inside of our community. We have extra wide sidewalks built throughout our entire development, The Canals at Grand Park, with families, kids, and pets in mind. We also have parks nearby and doggie stations surrounding the perimeter of our entire building.
Does Watermere at Frisco work with an agency or registry to provide nursing and medical assistance as needed?
We can offer the continuum of care on our campus here in Frisco since our sister assisted living community, The Landing at Watermere, is right next door.
