My husband moved into Sunrise Senior Care Home. It's very large, a single family home that's been converted, it's all very recently updated, and it's all very nice and clean. The kitchen and dining room are all open, each resident has their own private room and are nice and large. They are licensed at 12, but they keep it at 9, and they serve nice, hot meals a day, plus snacks. My son was very impressed with it, the staff is very kind, pleasant, and caring. It's not like a nursing home.

My mother has moved into Sunrise Senior Care Home. It is a very clean and beautiful home. It makes you feel like you're living at home. It is not like some of the other ones where you feel like you're in a nursing home. It's very beautiful and very family-oriented. They're all family that run it; they're great. There are four ladies who stay there and one gentleman. A nurse comes in once every two to three weeks. They're very attentive. Everybody seems very happy. My mother loves it, and all the other ladies that are there love it too. That's a good thing. They have great meals. They do activities like Bingo. The pricing is perfect.

I liked Sunrise Senior Care Home, everything from the setup, to the way they had the building divided, and how they remodeled it. The staff knew what they were talking about. The activities depend on the resident's capability, whether it's story time or movies or walking around outdoors. They serve 3 meals a day, and they provide laundry services and housekeeping. They even take the residents to the beauty parlor if they need to get their hair or nails done. They also take the residents to places they want to go.

I visited Sunrise for my father. Basically, it is a converted private house. The residents have their rooms and would share a bathroom. There is a central kitchen. It is family home, so it is pleasant. The facility is owned by a husband and wife. It is a relatively small facility. There are three or four residents there now.

It was excellent -- I would highly recommend Sunrise Senior Care Home. It was above our budget unfortunately. It is like living in your own home. They have a very nice facility with nice sized bathrooms and good staff. I liked that it's very small, and it had more like a home setting, so it would be an easier transition for your loved one. They have barbecue every weekend, they have games, and they celebrate birthdays.

My situation began with my 91 year old father, who lived alone in his home, After falling numerous times and responding to his aid, finally I was able to work him into a rehab/nursing facility in Livingston, Texas. It was only a few weeks later that I discovered that this facility was simply feeding him and changing his Depends. There was no rehab, in fact for weeks I wanted a podiatrist and a barber. The nursing staff and administration did not listen and my father was being neglected. He came to them with the ability to utilize a walker with help to a bed ridden TV watcher. Finally, I and my brother decided to move him closer to Conroe. Moving my father to Sunrise Senior Care Home was one of the best decisions I had made in life. The owners and staff have provided excellent care and a family atmosphere. He has not been able to walk at this time, but they are at least getting him out of bed for showering and sitting exercises. The food is homemade and delicious. The grounds are well kept and provide an environment conducive to improving the overall health of the patients. My Dad's overall demeanor, both physically and emotionally have vastly improved.. I recommend this Senior Care facility without any reservations.
