I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My husband arrived at Winsor Duval in September 2017 when he came Windsor he was falling daily had been 3 previous facilities and by the time he got to Windsor he was on so many psych meds. The staff at Windsor discontinued all psych meds, he's now goes to the bathroom and does not use it on himself he attends activities and now has a better quality of life. I would recommend this place, it's not pretty but the staff is very caring.

My dad has lived at Windsor for about 4 months. Nobody wants to see their loved one move to nursing care. Its hard. But I find that the staff there are wonderful to him. The facility needs work to look better, the phones get on my nerves, but what MATTERS is the people and the people are great. Today was their fall festival and my dad actually said "we are like a family here"

My father is in Windsor. Our main concern is communication with the staff. They don’t have that many people in there, and they don’t return the call when you ask them questions. They’re not following through with what they said. They walk them out and they have rehab. There are doctors who come to the home.

This place is horrible. My mother was there and I had to take her to the emergency room twice due to neglect . She had to stay in the hospital both times for over 10 days. They allow patients to smoke pot and drink outside on the back porch area. I witnessed it myself. The staff eats the patients food and lets male and female patients be in the rooms together with the door closed when they are in a relationship. This facility is filthy and smells awful. They have gone thru several employees and directors. If you want your family members to be safe do NOT Take them to Duval. This place should be shut down and torn down.

So, from the outside, this looks like an older nursing home. It's inside, the people that make the huge difference!!! My Mom was here for a week and received excellent care, from the admissions (Brian was AWESOME), to the social services (thanks for everything Lynn), to the PTs, OTs, nurses (sorry I didn't get all your names). I would DEFINITELY recommend this facility to anyone looking for "transitional" care. Thanks to all who made this a pleasant experience.

From the hospital, my mom went to Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. I just saw the place when I dropped her off and what I saw in the Internet was not exactly what it looked like so I was kind of disappointed. Nonetheless, the facility was clean and the staff seemed okay. However, I would suggest they improve the staffing because a lot of their staff had thick heavy accent so it was difficult for my mom to understand.

I love this large nursing and rehab facility. I have a friend who has been there since 2009 and I have seen improvements everyday since. I visit on the weekends and there is always activities going on like bingo, church service, and arts/ crafts. They have some of the most caring staff I have ever seen. My friend really likes living there and has made many friends along the way.

My aunt stayed in this facility for several months. She needed temporary housing when it came time that she could not take care of herself anymore. She loved the place, and insisted on staying when we found somewhere else for her to go. She loved the staff, as did I. The staff was knowledgeable, sincere, loving, caring, and very serious about the things that they needed to provide to my aunt. She enjoyed being there, and if she ever needs to go back, I'm sure she will want to go back to Duval Gardens. She enjoyed having her own space the most, which was the best part of it all. She needed to take medication while she was there, and they were always making sure that they were on time with it, and that they gave her the correct medication, and the correct amount. They were very punctual, and very vocal about what she was taking, when, and why, every single time.

Absolutely awful. I regret every minute my Uncle was there. When he requested pain meds they would take 30+ minutes to get them to him - this continued even after 2 complaints. There were times when we would go visit and there were problems with his oxygen and the head nurse decided that it was more important to get documents filed than getting a patient his required O2. THEN when he died (because he hit his head) it took them forever to pronounce him. Seriously? It was that hard to get someone in his room and to care for him. WORST FACILITY EVER. It smelled in there and although it looked clean at a glance, closer review would show that it was in fact dirty.
