During the time my husband was at this facility, it was always clean. The staff was amazing. I have never seen more caring staff. I could tell by the way they treated my husband when they didn't realize I was there. They do an excellent job and go above and beyond in a (in my opinion) a very stressful and difficult profession. They were very good to communicate and relay any concerns they had. I can't say enough good things about Westmoreland Care and Rehab. Thank you for the excellent care you provided to my husband. I will not forget that.

My father passed away on Labor Day. He was in Westmoreland. They wouldn’t let us in, so I never couldn't tell much about it, but he got bed sores all over him, so I don't think very much of it. He wasn't able to communicate. They call about every week or so. You couldn't go inside. All we've ever done was talk to him on the phone. The doctor has put him on some medications, I was trying to get him talk to me, but they wouldn't do that. And I was trying to get them to give him another COVID test. They said he tested positive, and they never want to do that, so I ain't got really nothing good to say about them at all. We never got to go in with the Covid thing, everybody's outside. I went there often times to see my father. We just walk around outside of the building. When you look in [his room] the sun was always shining on the window. We really couldn't tell, we could barely see him, and really couldn't tell anything about the room much. The outside was clean. My father didn't like the food much. I don't know if it was tasteless. I don't know if it was actually the food or his taste just wouldn't agree on anything. They call me once a week and would tell about his therapy, but I don't think they were doing that much. I think his doctor supposedly told him he needed to be on bed rest. I don't think he was given showers, just sponge bath. I don't think he was taken good care at all, because he was only in there a few weeks, but the whole time he was in there he ended up with 5, or 6, or maybe 7 bedsores. If I had to do it over, I would've brought him home and took care of him myself for sure.

Mom stayed at Westmoreland Care and Rehabilitation Center for nine weeks. Overall, for a nursing home, I thought they did a good job. She had a typical nursing home room, which was not very spacious. The staff was great. However, she complained about the food and it was really bad.

After visiting this facility several times at any given time of day or night, it is top notch in care. The employees seem to truly care for the residents. it is very clean and well-cared for facility.
