I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Our mom has been at the Arbors for a few months, and we are very pleased with the care she is receiving! Friendly and patient staff, tuned-in and kind nurse, and the small environment makes it feel welcoming and homey, even for visiting family members. They take resident safety seriously and have been quick to adapt to our mom's various medical issues. The administrator has also been very diligent in helping us continue to get reimbursement from our mom's long-term care insurance policy which is a challenge sometimes. Very grateful the Arbors is available to our family!

The Arbors at Willow Springs is an age in place facility. Once you become a resident there, you will be there throughout the duration of your time, unless you have to be hospitalized for any reason (but you can just return back to the facility after that). They do accept Medicaid too, which only few age in place facilities do. My mom can have her own private room, and it's all inclusive. It makes it really nice. They handle all the laundry and everything for her. It's a full service facility. So far so good, and she's only been three days. The memory care is a small setting. They are only allowed to have only 16 rooms. Currently, residents that are there now have all private rooms. They are handling only 12 individuals right now. They have an ample staff to support the needs of the residents. Also, the facility is very nice and kept real nice. They repainted and re-carpeted her room before she moved in. It just has been welcoming, since we started the process. They are very involved with different things. They take them on outings, shopping, to eat, or go on picnics. It's a very clean facility and very organized. They have an exercise room, an in-house beauty salon, and relaxation rooms. Of course, they do lots of different in-house activities with them, like crafts and things like that. So far, I feel like I'm getting what I paid for.

I visited this facility

Willow Springs was very nice. Everybody was super nice. It was very good. They let my in-laws eat while they were there, and the food looked delicious. However, one thing I didn't care for was that they didn't lock the doors. The staff members were very nice and very helpful. We toured the rooms, but we did not tour the memory care because we weren't really looking at memory care at that time. Nevertheless, they explained to us if my father-in-law went to memory care and my mother-in-law went into the assisted living, she would have access to him. They could bring him over there with her. They also have good activities. They have dominoes, crafts, bingo, church services, and different people come in and sing.

I visited this facility

We had made an appointment and when I first walked in The Arbors at Willow Springs, the lady just seemed totally disorganized. She had to clear off the seats for us to sit down. I don't give them a vote of confidence if they're not organized. She showed us around, she was very pleasant, and seemed to know what she was talking about, but she's disorganized. The overall facility wasn't dirty, but it was dusty in the corners, the ledges, and the rails along the sides. I wasn't impressed with that. However, it's a nice facility, and if you're looking for something small and a little homier, it's nice for that. They don't have a variety when it comes to the menu. They have one special for the day, but the rest of the food options are a la carte items. They have a bus and an aviary.

I visited this facility

People-wise, Willow Springs was incredible. I saw the menu, and it did not impress me at all. They only had one room available, and it was smaller and more expensive than where my mother is right now. When I started to see other places, I realized how expensive they were and how their place was more rundown. The people were very nice, but I think they need to update their facility because it looked like it definitely could use a good paint job and maybe new carpeting. It looked kind of worn down.

Although they called and confirmed they were not ready to see us. The facility is clean and comfortable and we would consider as a possibility for the future.

Willow Springs seemed nice, but it was small. It was clean. When we walked in, it was very pretty. It had a fireplace and a little sitting area. However, what I did not like was that it did not have a receptionist, but I would tell people to go check them.

I visited this facility

I did visit Willow Springs. Their rooms were little better. They’re more roomy, and organized. I also thought the programs, and staff were a little bit lower-notch compared to the other facility; but they’re still very good. The facility was very nice. They have a very structured program. The facility was very clean. There was no odor.

I visited this facility

We live in Spring Hill and it is very important to us to have my mother-in-law somewhere close. We visited Willow Springs because it is in the area. It is a very nice and clean facility. It is probably five or six years old. We want my mother-in-law to have a private room there but she has to go on a waiting list. Their staff is really good. I did talk with some residents there and they seemed happy being there. They like this facility. The only thing I am not too impressed about is their menu. They are serving a lot of hamburgers. It is not something I want for my mother-in-law.

My father has been a resident at Willow Spings for almost 3 years. From day one we have had the best medical care, nurses, caregivers, and constant communication with all the the staff. They have guided us as a family in decision making for the care of our father and kept him in the decison making process with us in medical care. I highly recommend this facility for anyone looking for the most excellent care for their family member. The staff and residents have become part of our own family and for this I am truly blessed!

I am a friend or relative of resident

My mother has been a resident for a year. Before that she was able to participate in the day programs and she decided it would be a great place to live. And she was right. The staff takes remarkable care of her, always checking in with her to see if she needs anything. The nurses carefully manage her medical needs as well as her general well being. The living spaces are always clean and well managed. Other residents are just as well cared for as my mother. We are exceptionally pleased with The Arbors and recommend it highly.

My husband and I are residents here. We are not able to care for ourselves any longer. The Administration and staff here do an excellent job of providing services and care. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing assistance with living.

My grandmother lived with my family for about ten years, until my parents got a divorce, and she was forced to move out of the house. We found this assisted living in our town and fell in love with it. They treated my grandmother very well and the workers and orderlies were very helpful and kind. They checked on my grandmother every two hours around the clock, so she was always helped out when she needed it. They had social activites every day for her, which helped out with her mood. She became a completely different person once she moved in, and she was the happiest I had ever seen her when she lived there, until she passed away this May.
