I toured Commonwealth Senior Living at Oak Ridge. I love the size of the rooms, and I love everything about that tour. When you look at it from the outside, it didn't look like much. When we went inside, I fell in love with the place. It was homey. The people were warm, and the residents made us feel very welcome. The staff was wonderful. She was excellent. The dining room is excellent. I loved it. It was spacious and was just nice all in all. They had a beauty shop, do laundry, and trash pickup. They had an exercise room at the end of the hall. They have a room for rehab if you're coming out of the hospital. I love that place.

I was very surprised with Commonwealth Senior Living at Oak Ridge because it's been there a while, but I didn't realize it was under new management. A lot of sections have been totally renovated. The staff was great, and it was a very good place. You got one meal a day, and you could pay for the other meals individually or be billed at the end of the month. It might suit a lot of people because some don't like breakfast. I thought that the price was not quite as good for what you received, but maybe the ability to age in place would be good. They have the usual bingo, and they go out to malls or to restaurants. They were going to a local Mexican restaurant that day with some of the staff. The hallways were a regular size. They're not narrow by any means, but just like a hospital size. There is a full sized washer and dryer on each floor. They take care of linens and towels, but they don't do your personal washing until you move up to more care.

I enjoyed the tour at Commonwealth Senior Living, and I like the facility a lot. They're great people, and it impressed me the way they were taking care of the residents there. The bedroom was one large room with a lot of closet space and a clean bathroom. The first floor has all the common areas. The second floor was for assisted living residents. The third and fourth floors were for residential living. It's for seniors or couples who don't really need assisted living at the time, but wanted to live in an apartment-type complex. They have different activities on different days of the week. They have bingo, puzzles, and exercises.

This place is not for any human being to live. The lack of safety to others is completely and utterly dangerous. They are under review of safety regulations of others

Commonwealth Senior Living at Oak Ridge was very nice, but it was a big tall building and my friend would've been on the third floor, and she wouldn't want that. It was older, but it was in good condition. The staff was nice, and it was an active community. There were people coming and going, and a bus had gone off for shopping. The staff showed me different rooms, layouts and prices, and the price was nice. Oak Ridge was my favorite city to live in. It's a walkable town, and it's near a great hospital. The majority of doctors, Wal-Mart, and a movie theater were all within 5-10 minutes. Everything is quick and easy to get to. They had activity rooms, a party room, popcorn, and a movie room. They were redoing one of the major rooms, and everything's well kept up. The hallways were nice, wide and bright. They had a mailbox station and elevators, and they also had an Alzheimer's unit.
