I had an in-person tour of Foxbridge. It was a very good experience. The people are willing to work with you very nicely. The place is clean. The people seemed very honest. It's not a huge location, but the grounds are nice. They have little ponds and fountains, so I was pretty impressed by them. But the rooms are very small. It was more of a nice living atmosphere. We spoke to somebody living there, and she even said they enjoyed living there. It was more like a country home.

I toured Foxbridge for my husband. I like the organization where they had separate cottages where each cottage had four rooms for patients, a living room and a dining room there, and a nurse's station. The rooms had two closets and a separate bathroom. The room is of generous size. The staff was very friendly, the admissions person was especially helpful, and everyone seemed very friendly. The residents seemed to be comfortable where they were. The safety was a plus because it's an eight-acre facility. It has an ornamental iron fence around it. It's secured by gates that have to be opened with security. The grounds are well landscaped, and their activities director uses the Montessori method, which is helpful to patients. I viewed some of the activities that patients had done, and they were quite artistic and very attractive. They've produced things for the tables, and they also produced things for their own rooms to decorate their doors or inside.

My sister has moved into Foxbridge. It's a nice, homey place, and it's very clean. The staff is great. The food is seasoned right and my sister loves it. It tastes right, and it's good food. At this time, I think the activities are not enough, but the facilities are great. They have a salon and a courtyard. Anything you want is right in Bartlett. You got shopping, you have food, you have almost anything you want in that area, so it's a good location. It's the best one for my sister's needs.

I liked Foxbridge. It was just too far for me to come. I liked their cabins. They were nice. Maintenance looked good. The staff that gave the tour was nice. I think each cabin had its own dining area. There would be 3 people in one cabin, so there would be three rooms. I noticed that their dining area was small, but it was nice. They were doing some nail polishing when I visited there.

I visited Foxbridge. It was a nice tour. The staff was very helpful, very patient, kind, and answered all of our questions. It was very clean. They had different-sized rooms that could accommodate a person. It was a clean, nice room. They have common areas right outside. They will have a group of like four rooms and they have a common area for those rooms. They have a dining area and an activity room. I really wasn't looking at the decor, but from what I remember, it was nice and up-to-date. They had multiple large screen TVs, water dispensers sitting out, and a coffee station. They encourage their residents to drink water, so they have a dispenser there.

I'm pleased so far with Foxbridge. Everything seems well and people are very professional and very nice. Their community is made up of several cottages, two of which are dedicated to memory care, one of them is where my mom is now. I believe there are about 15 residents in each cottage. It has its kitchen, main room, and then the bedrooms. She has her own private room with a bathroom and shower, and it's pretty much well-situated. They have a few aides and nurses, too. On my last visit, they actually had a pajama day, so everyone stayed in their pajamas all day, but they also had several activities. They play different games, decorate the whole place for Halloween, and hold a holiday meal a week before Thanksgiving where each resident will be allowed to have at least two guests to come and eat a meal with them. Since she's in memory care, everything has to be enclosed. There is a courtyard where they can go out at any time if they choose with trees around, chairs, little benches, and tables, and it's in a nice grassy shady area with sidewalks going around. The staff is very experienced and very knowledgeable. They seem to have been able to handle my mom with very little conflict. We just had a care conference last Tuesday, where I sat down with two nurses and an assistant and they just shared with me what they had seen so far with my mother, and it was right in line with everything. We put a plan together on how we go forward, what were the things that she likes and dislikes, and just talked about the ways of approaching day-to-day living. So, I was very appreciative of them for just including me. When you first look at it from the outside, it's nice got a nice layout, because there were lakes in between some of the cottages. I visited some other facilities that were newer, fancier, but Foxbridge is nicer once you get inside. Some of the outsides, at first glance, looks dated, but when you go inside, it's very nice, plus they offer a better price than everywhere else.
