Since management change in spring of 2019, good care is more visible. Staff are attending to residents, residents are being assisted with incontinent care, dressing and meals. Definite improvement.

Unprofessional staff: Makes fun of patient’s family in front of other residence. Encourages patient to go home and contact hospice without good cause. Failed to contact psychological services after witnessing bizarre behavior. Did not follow directions for proper diet. Did not give medicines in accordance with doctor’s orders. Left sit in urine soaked clothes for a long period of time.

This place is dreadful. It seems more like a psychiatric hospital than a nursing home or rehab center. It smells. Patients appear to be heavily medicated. No one seems to be supervising them or attending to them. The nurses are sub-par, and the aides are unprofessional. There is no caringness demonstrated. I feel so sorry for these patients who obviously have no one advocating for them. It is very sad. I don’t understand why this place is allowed to exist.

All homes and rehabilitative centers have their ups and downs. My mother was in Lancashire Hall rehabilitating from back problems they were very attentive to her the physical therapy department was phenomenal and they're following up the food was like all homes but they had all kinds of daily stuff for the people to do and see it felt like a comfortable home period I give it 5 stars!

Dreadfully depressing. Long line of patients obviously over-medicated slumped over in wheelchairs in a long hall which 1 attendant was in the nurses' station -apparently keeping an eye of 40+ patients. They were "waiting for the activity scheduled for the morning"... wonder what they would be, and how many of them would be conscious. It was a snakepit!

I have had several family members go to Lancashire Hall. I personally have been working in health care field for over 13 years and I could not have been more thankful for the care and support the staff had shown me and my family. Therapy was wonderful and encouraging. The nursing staff always smiled and offered assistance to me and my family member. When my grandmother passed away at Lancashire Hall (it was her time) they were not only sad for us they were sad for the loss they were witnessing as well. They helped me with my children when it happened and I received more then a fair share of hugs and support. Lancashire Hall has flaws as does everywhere else. But when it comes to my family I will always pick Lancashire Hall/Lancashire Terrace.
