I give Chapel Pointe a neutral rating. It did not strike me as a substandard facility, nor did it strike me as a very appealing place. The older structure with high ceilings and hardwood floors made it feel noisy. Every sound seemed to echo and bounce. It didn't have the clean, modern feel that some of the other facilities had. The staff were pleasant, but I wouldn't say that they were friendly. They were operating on a waiting list, so I guess that their need to solicit business was pretty low. In light of that fact, I felt as though the tour that I was given was somewhat of a nuisance. The clients of the facility appeared to be receiving quality care. Attentive staff members spoke kindly to the people needing care. The facility was divided into separate areas. The level of care that the client needed determined where that client resided. Round the clock nursing was available for clients who were severely debilitated. Assisted living facilities were also available. Chapel Pointe seems to offer quality care to its clients. It does have a lack luster appearance and older facility.
