I loved The Lodge In Sisters. It was very nice. Deb was wonderful. I felt like we were sisters after I talked with her. She's a wonderful representative for that facility. The rooms were very nice. Everything was very clean. It was a smaller facility. That was my favorite one. They were all wonderful. I would entrust a loved one to The Lodge in Sisters.

I liked the atmosphere there at the Lodge in Sisters. It was very clean. What I didn't like is the cost, but that seemed to be across the board. The staff was personable and answered questions. They've got everything that a person might need. They have exercise rooms. Restaurants are maybe a mile away, and they have transportation that can take you.

We liked the area where The Lodge In Sisters is. They have the activities that I like, and they have a hair salon. The staff has been very helpful and they have everything that we would need.

The Lodge in Sisters is supposed to be a pretty good retirement center; but frankly, I was not that impressed. They didn't have any studio apartments available during my tour, but they had a studio model. We went into that. Then walked into the bathroom. The toilet was absolutely filthy. I looked at the TV room and the library. Most of the chairs (I think) would be hard to get out of because they're too low for me. I stand 6'6, so it makes them hard to get out of. We had some snow the night before and when I drove up to the facility at about 11 o'clock, there was still snow on the sidewalks. It did not look like anybody was going to shovel it off, and they were just waiting on the sun to melt it. It didn't give me a good feeling of being safe for senior citizens if they wanted to go out and walk. The people that I met were very pleasant, but I only talked to one person. The facility is relatively new. After the experience of looking at the studio model, I kind of just shut everything down. Their independent and assisted living were kind of combined, but I was really just looking for independent living during my visit.

We chose The Lodge In Sisters for my mother. It was a wonderful visit, and it met all of our needs. The staff was very caring and very helpful. We looked at a one-bedroom and that was perfect for my mom's needs. It's a place that I would feel comfortable having her live. We weren't able to see any amenities. We really couldn't tour much because of COVID, but the place was very well maintained.

The Lodge In Sisters is a new community built in 2019. It is the heart of Sisters Oregon but not far from Redmond, Bend and Prineville. I have personally had the food from Chef Bill and was very impressed. The director is Scott Nay. He is very caring and was more than happy to answer all my questions. The rooms are large and there is a salon, 24 hour cafe, gardens, a piano, rec room and a bunch of outdoor themed gardens. All the staff I have encountered have been exceptional. The views of the moutains are spectacular and the town of Sisters is by far the biggest draw. Check out their facebook page and you can see all the activities. The Lodge provides assisted living as well as independent living.
