I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Our mother recently passed away but was here for almost 2 and a half years. We were satisfied with her care. The staff worked hard to care for the changes that came with her condition, even offering helpful suggestions along the way. We had regularly scheduled meetings that kept us up on mom's condition and where we could discuss our concerns. The staff was always kind and supportive, especially to our father. Mom's room was comfortable with plenty of light and warmth. She wasn't able to participate in activities but she was always invited. We really appreciated this facility and would recommend it!

My husband recently passed at Rosewood Specialty Care. The staff are wonderful, friendly and I can’t say enough. The caregivers work hard and took good care of my husband.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Rosewood Specialty care has been under review for months. It has several violations that are very concerning. The Director has sat back and done nothing to make this place great in 5 years. They are now unable to take new clients. This place is so mismanaged it is alarming. The State of Oregon for DHS is investigating them. The staff is not trained or monitored on their performance. However, they try very hard to do a good job. Angela the director and the "chef" are horrible and need to go. The food is horrible.

I visited this facility

Rosewood just accepted my mother tonight. They have five levels of care, and with memory care, you need that. It is a very nice place, it is clean, and the people are very nice. They have people with memory care in mind as far as how it is designed. There are no corners, and it is just like a big circle to where they cannot get too confused, so they just kind of stay in their own little areas. It is semi-private rooms, which is kind of nice. They have their own room, and then a shared bathroom. I only toured it a couple of times, and they had an opening, so I jumped at the chance.
