Park Village Health Care Center was nice. The people were nice. Everything looked really nice. They were well cared for. It was older than the other facility, but same people own them. The staff was very nice. I saw a guy first, who introduced me to the girl that gave the tour. They have independent living on one side and assisted living on the other side. If you have a car, you get to park there outside. There are no garages like at the other place. They had an exercise room and a library. There was a little room where people sang, played the piano, and that kind of stuff. They didn't have the cottages, but still what they had was really nice.

I toured Park Village Health Care Center. They have a nursing home building, assisted living building, and two independent living buildings. It's all under one address. The place was light and airy. Everything was modern and up to date. The kitchen was a functioning kitchen, the rooms were big, and they have lots of light and windows. When went in there I thought "this is a happy place." Every time I saw residents, they welcomed me. They were very happy and cheerful. I probably only talked to two staff there. Everybody else I talked to was somebody who resided there. They have a very attractive dining room and an activity room. The whole vibe there was welcoming, you just felt welcome when you walked in there. Accessibility was better here. They showed me the dining room and where the laundry was. It was pristine -- clean -- everything was clean. I got there before lunchtime, like an hour before, so they were cooking, and it smelled really good.

My grandmother spent several trips in and out of skilled rehab facilities due to various health issues. The experience at Park Village was by far the best and we were thankful for the peace of mind her care while at Park Village gave us. Every other facility left us disappointed with her care, so Park Village was a true blessing. Thankfully, she was able to return home after her stay, but we recommend Park Village to anyone who needs nursing home care or rehab.

Park Village Health Care Center in Dover was darker and drearier than the other ones we visited, and it's older. We met less people at that one, but the staff was very wonderful, and very nice. I didn't have any bad experiences with the staff, but because of Covid, it's very limited. There was an empty room that they were able to show us. It's hard when you can't get the full thing because you're not able to see as much.

They’ve done an excellent job at Park Village. Mom‘s diabetic, so there’s different things that they do. They’ve been very helpful and delightful. There were instances where she walked out and walked around, and though she’s allowed to walk around, she went pretty far, so they put a wrist thing on her to monitor her. I don't have a problem with that because they have a lot of people to watch out for. It’s a very clean, updated, and newer facility. It’s definitely nice and clean, and they have some activities. The only thing is that my mom is just a little younger than most of the residents, but that’s not their fault. They have nursing staff available right there. I also believe they have a nursing home side to it, but she’s in assisted living. She has a kitchen, somewhat; it's a sink and a small refrigerator. It’s a little less expensive than my dad’s place. Everything is well taken care of that way.
