I went to Windsor Point. They seemed very organized. They had a lot of activities. It was very clean. The room was typical. We looked at a two-bedroom with two bathrooms, a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen. They had a stove in each one of them. A lot of the apartments don't have stoves, but they do. The staff who toured us was very outgoing. I think she related very well to my mother-in-law, who was very difficult, so she did a good job of that. They had outdoor space, and they had an indoor pool, which was nice. Even with the buy-in there, the rent there is cheaper than most others.

My father is presently a resident in assisted living here. He is not happy. He and my mother were moved here almost 2 years ago because my mother was very ill. He has memory issues, so we have Royal Treatment help him daily. 3 out 4 of those employees are exceptional & will perform even tougher duties when we request. One has not been very effective as an assistant. My mom was in skilled nursing due to a fracture & my experience was that they were understaffed and gave excuses as to why they could not provide her with appropriate care. She was there for approximately a week and the nursing staff did NOT realize that she was completely delirious & had had multiple embolisms (3 limbs and her lungs) which made her obviously different physically. All this was discovered upon visitation by a NON-MEDICAL family member. She was hence taken to critical care and as a result died 10 days later (after in house Hospice care for a week. Whereby I was her primary caretaker that last week). All of the Royal Treatment caretakers were wonderful during her last days, but we were all devastated over her loss. They do not have a doctor on staff for continuous care (of skilled nursing patients) and this is extremely disturbing to me. Please be careful choosing this facility. They hire people who are not necessarily qualified for their positions and they pay so poorly that they cannot find competent staff. The food is subpar at times & they often substitute food that is not “ordered” because they are out of the desired selection or simply don’t have what they put on the menu options. This has been an issue. Question these topics prior to choosing this retirement community before you place your loved ones here.

My Mom & Dad resided in Chelsea Hall for a short time. The friendly, caring and professional staff got to know them (and our entire family) really well. Their loving, supportive and personalized care extended beyond the call. My parents’ comfort and our peace of mind in knowing they were being so well looked after was absolutely priceless. Thank you,

My mother has been at Windsor Point for a few years now and I love the staff and other residents. They have always been caring and responsive their needs. Recently they have started renovating/updating healthcare and it looks amazing. Cant wait to see it when its is all completed. If you are looking for a family oriented environment you need to check this place out.

Windsor Point has it all. They got independent retirement, assisted living, and skilled nursing. A $55,000 entrance fee is a big pill to swallow. What impressed us is the professionalism of the staff, the departments were really kept clean and orderly, and they had some good service like pill and medication service that comes. It has a stage for entertainment, and they have Bingo and other activities to keep them involved. They get breakfast, lunch, dinner, hairstyling, nail care, and things that you need.

I liked Windsor Point. The staff members were very nice, and the dining room looked good. The place was nice, and they serve one meal a day. The price is reasonable.
