I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

the food is a joke- i feel bad for the residents they make choices on the menu, arrive at the dining room to find that the items they selected are not available- food is not properly prepared they should be ashamed to serve mashed potatoes that are frozen in the middle or hot rolls that hare hard on the outside and raw on the inside-

Provider Response

We have received your feedback regarding the carpeting and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Providing a safe and clean environment for residents is essential, and we’re actively looking into the issue for potential resolutions. We are also reviewing our communication protocols to avoid any misunderstandings in the future. If you would like to discuss any of these issues in further detail, we ask you to please reach out Kyle Jones, Regional Director of Operations.

Extremely disappointed in the lack of care my loved one has received. It has been a very bad experience. Neglect of residents. Lack of bathing. Lack of care. Lack of compassion.

The nursing care here is absolutely terrible. My mother was sick for weeks and the nurse never even came to see her and was rude when I called her about it. I had to complain up the the executive director just to get someone to take her to the doctor. This happened more than once. I also heard other people complaining that their mother hadn't been bathed for days. They also make frequent medication errors. The food is a joke for the price you pay...they often don't even have the food that they show on their menus. They also raised the rent $500 at the beginning of the year with promises of improvements, and things have only gotten worse since Navion bought the place. Don't put your loved ones here, I truly believe you will regret it.

I visited this facility

Chatham Ridge Assisted Living was nice. The nice thing about it was it is all one level. The whole building is one level. It looked clean. There was one room that I saw, and there was somebody constantly packing up, folding, and re-folding their clothes. You can't say it's really homey. The staff was fine, provided me all the information, and informed us about the residents. There's a dining area, but we didn't really go in there. Most people were just sitting around the time that I went. They just had an outside patio and a garden area they could use, but that's about all I know.

I visited this facility

Chatham Ridge is a beautiful place. It is relatively new, but the rooms are not big. They're all single-rooms so you don't have an option of getting a bedroom and a living room area. They have one that is slightly bigger that has a little refrigerator, a microwave, and a countertop with sink, but it's not a whole lot bigger than any other room. That was the only drawback. The staff seems friendly. They're talking to all the clients. In fact, it was a beautiful day and a whole bunch of the residents were outside enjoying the sun, eating popcorn and hanging out. It looked like they're having a good time. It seemed like a nice place. The dining area looked very nice, too. It is not a very large place, but that's what's nice about it. The amenities looked very nice, but I don't think my mother-in-law will utilize a whole lot of it.

They took great care of my mom in Horizons...she was not the easiest of residents either...they really treated her great! We since had to move her to skilled but we miss everyone here!

I visited this facility

Chatham Ridge was good, clean, and one level, but there's too many people and it's too big for my aunt. When she's surrounded with a lot of people who have different conditions, it's going to be too much stress for her. We walked around and saw different rooms. The one that we saw was more like a studio with a small kitchen and a sink, a microwave area, and a refrigerator. Everyone has their own decorations and furniture. The three meals are provided to them. Nurse or the helper come and give them medication. They had a chart for the basic things but if you needed extra care, they will include it in that chart. They had different levels, like if you have a condition where you escape, they had a locked facility. The dining room looked clean, organized, and open. They had an area where people can go out and talk to each other. I didn't smell anything bad.

I visited this facility

Chatham Ridge is new, clean, ready to serve, and had openings close to where I live. They were friendly and clear about what they’re providing. The food was good.
