We chose Park Creek because it had more spiritual value for Mom. It offered her communion and the Holy Mass, which is very important to her. It's a smaller community, so it seemed to be the right fit for her. The staff is lovely; they're very attentive. She has a bedroom. She and another woman share a bathroom, and she seems very, very happy. Yesterday, they had chicken, stuffing, and vegetables and they said it was delicious. They get soup every lunch, and they have choices from the menu as to sandwiches and the warm meal. Breakfast is usually omelets or French toast or oatmeal. They have a very nice menu.
They have sittercise almost everyday. They have Wii bowling and Wii games that they play. They have different activities for them as far as game types. The religious part of it is every single day at 11 o'clock, that's for one hour, and then they have their social hours. They have ice cream socials. They have people come in to play music for them. She seems to really like it there. She's socializing with people her age. Today, they were down in the activities room making puzzles. An Eastern Hills Mall is near there. There are a lot of nice restaurants in the plazas. There are large supermarkets right there, should she choose to get in the car and go, if she wanted some snacks or something for her bedroom. There are a lot of other senior living facilities around there, too.
