My sister is in Central Island Healthcare. She's getting the care that she needs. She is on the floor where everybody is in a wheelchair, and mainly in bed. They have a big screen TV where they show some movies. I've seen nicer ones, but they didn't have rooms, and they would not take my sister. This one is working out OK. They change the bed every day. The nurses and the aides are nice. They have the laundry room. They do laundry every day and they bring it back on the hanger. This facility is good for rehab. She doesn't participate in any activity, but they have a nice calendar. The food looks good, but she has everything minced. The place needs some updating. It's very expensive if I have to pay out of my pocket, but for the money it's worth it.

The room is a solid 85 degrees. They can’t regulate it. Interaction with staff is pretty negligible. I asked for some water, they tell me I’m on fluid restriction. I’ve had 16 fluid oz of fluid all day. It is now 9.45 pm. At 8 pm, I was told no water until after 11. I told the nurse that because of the temp in this room, that I’ll dehydrated. I’m a dialysis patient and I need my medications. Been here since about 5:30, with no medication given. My BP is going up by the minute. This place shouldn’t be open to patient that need care! If I could give 0 stars i would!

My Dad has been in this facility for long term care for several months now and we've been very happy with how well he has been cared for throughout each and every day. The nurses and aids have all been very kind and caring. They are attentive and on top of any concern we have. Very clean

My dad is at Central Island Healthcare and, thus far, they've been very, very helpful. His social workers are very engaged with us and letting us know his status. His RN case manager has been very helpful too with anything we need or any kind of services we need. Everybody's been very nice with the other assisted living facilities that they call and require information from. Central Island Healthcare also called me to make sure it was OK to speak to everybody, which was very nice of them. Because of COVID, I can't go there and visit him, but I do FaceTime calls with him every other day, and he seems relatively happy, considering the situation, and the staff has been very, very nice. Honestly, I have not had a single negative thing said about them. Everybody has been very, very pleasant. He also says the food is OK, but he is a person who is pretty easy to please. He says most of the things are kind of just alright. The facility is right off of the main road and it's more like a hospital from what I recall, just from the outside of it. It is definitely expensive for what it is. It is much more expensive than assisted living, like it's almost double. The value of money could be better.

Communication service terrible No one picking phones no one calling back when you leave massage. Rehabilitation service terrible , my father is there for rehabilitation after the 3 weeks of hospitalization he’s there 2 weeks already since then he was taken twice for rehabilitation instead of everyday like he should. In my opinion they are giving him some medication to make him loopy . He’s not the Same person I was transferring from hospital to rehab . They didn’t bring him for his Cardiologyst appt. because they didn’t scheduled on right time and didn’t even inform me on out that knowing I’m the contact person for every single issue they have regarding my father they were aware that I’m going to be there for that appt. the case manager doesn’t do her job at all I’m calling everywhere to schedule the doctors appt. . The aides who work there very unprofessional so just rethink about this facility if you or your family member have to go rehab center after hospital . All those facilities are horrible , they charging a lot of money from insurances and they don’t do the job they really should . Especially right now during the Covid they know families can’t come and see what’s going on so they doing what they want. Rooms apparently horrible ac/ fans on full speed . Waiting time for aide or nurse to came and help you is from 2-3 hours.
