I will be moving into Hilton East Assisted Living. I liked that they were located in a wooded area. I liked the rooms. The staff would come every three days to give me a shower, which is nice and good. I've had no problems at all with anybody there, and it seemed to be a lot better than the place I was before. I would say food is 80 percent good. The staff who assisted me did a wonderful job. She showed me where I would be. She showed me where I had to go for dinner or lunch. She showed me where the offices were, where the nurse's office was. I was very satisfied with the way she showed me around.

Place is run down and always short staffed. The food is terrible and residents are not taken care off. They don’t get showered often and their beds are left filthy

My mom moved into Hilton East Assisted Living, and she is doing great. They're very accommodating. They're attentive to her needs. Everybody is great about answering any questions that we have. The place is clean and well kept. Things are set up a little differently because of COVID and the need for social distancing. They have activities. They have socially distanced bingo. They have a beautiful courtyard, a hairdresser, and a barber. They are very accommodating, but I think there were more options for activities prior to COVID.

I've been here at Hilton East Assisted Living for seven years now, and I love it here. I like the staff, and I like some of the aides. The nurses, the med techs, and the ones that give you your lotion and stuff or the treatment techs are great. Their activities are good. The food is sometimes OK, sometimes not. Everything's fine here except we had to be quarantined in our rooms for a while because we had some Covid cases here. Other than that, I love it here. We play bingo, and at night we play Rummy. You can't do much and you can't go outside because it's so cold from raining. In the summer, we used to have a lot of activities outside, but now, we really don't have a lot. A lot of people do arts and crafts, and we play beanbag toss, which I love. My room is fine, and I have a roommate. We have a hairdresser, and I just got my hair done today. She's here on Mondays and Thursdays, and we didn't have one for quite a while because of Covid. We had to wait for the State to OK her to come back, so now she's back and everything's great. We used to have entertainment every Friday with snacks, but due to Covid, we don't have it anymore. Every Tuesday, we had Catholic mass where the priest would come sometimes, but when the Covid hit, everything stopped. I think it's a nice place to live, and I like it. It's worth the money, and a lot of people come here. I'm also a resident ambassador. You welcome the new people that come in, show them around, and sit with them if you have to because sometimes, people will come in here that are so scared. I loved it the first night I was here. We also have a gazebo outside where we can smoke.

My friend was at Hilton East for almost 3 years. She has a physical illness and dementia. The care from all the staff was warm and caring. The kitchen worked hard to satisfy her limited food options. I ate there many times and found the regular menu and cooking to be very good. There were plenty of things to do. My only complaint, no one seemed to notice that there were drapes that were coming unhemmed. My husband and I say that if we need care, we will come here.

We found Hilton East Assisted Living, and my sister should be moving very shortly. I was very impressed with it. The residents were very active and really involved -- not just sitting in their bedroom. In one room, they’re singing, and in the other room, everybody is sitting and talking, so they look happy there. There’s 2 people sharing a room, and they have activities. They have several rooms where they do different things. They have an arts and crafts room where they do painting and all kinds of things in there. They had people come in from some of the churches, and they do sing-alongs with them. I met a lady there that I have met 20 years ago, and she’s been there for 9 years.
