My sister was taken there to Sea Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center recuperating from an amputation operation. The bed had no safety railing and her wheelchair had no safety belt. She ended up falling out of the wheelchair onto their dirty floor and ended up with an infection in her left stump. The staff there checked her vital signs and found nothing wrong with her. She couldn't open her eyes, talking incoherently, and rocking back and forth. We were told the doctor would come by to check on her at 6 pm, we waited until 8 pm, and NO DOCTOR showed up. I had been in the room with her and her husband (from 4 pm). We ended up calling 911 around 8:30 pm and she was taken to the nearby hospital and was diagnosed with an infection in her left stump. So, if you want a place to die, Sea Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brooklyn is the place. What is their mission statement, please ask before you leave a loved one in this place because There were two other patients in her room, each with their TV's turned up. And the food was nasty, sometimes burned. This is what I saw when I visited my sister. The whole place needs to be renovated and staffed with caring professional staff that are accountable to their mission of health and safety to their patients.

my friend was sent there. He hated every minute he was there. The people who work there are rude. The food was uneatable. When he arrived he was able to walk .When he left he left in a wheel chair and unable to walk. He sat around most days doing nothing at all. Please Please do not send your loved one there.

Not much attention to patients. Rude staff. Most times staff is congrating at nurses station. How long after my mother presses her button for help does it take an "attendant" to attend to their patients?

Very greatful for all the care they gave to my mom who was recovering from a stroke. She was very sick and Im glad she was admitted to Sea Crest. Because of all of their efforts, care and support my mom is much better now and she is going home! HUGE THANKS to her nurse Juan . He was making sure that my mom received the best care! Physical and occupational therapists were very grate. Special thanks to Mohammad and Dimitriy . The social worker Yana was also very helpful. Thank you for all your care. Svetlana

My mother is currently a patient here, she is a dialysis patient and honestly it has been amazing having her do dialysis in the same building. I recommend brining your own food because the food is gross. (lol) but expected. She had a beautiful view of the ocean and the neighborhood and staff was great. CNA's were rude but you get that everywhere. Sandra was a great social worker, she explained everything to me when it came to applying for MEDICAD before Medicare cut her. so it was great having some guidance.

I've been here at Sea Crest Nursing And Rehabilitation Center for 3 weeks now and I'm anxious to leave. I want to get out of here as quickly as possible. The care is fine. I have a shared room and it's adequate. The meals are not that good. There's nothing to do other than therapy. It's a day of complete inactivity. The courtyard is closed at the moment, and I'm not happy here.
