My brother is in Paloma Landing Retirement Community. If I could give the food a six, I would. We were comparing prices and this was a middle-range price, but the proximity to me was the closest. They furnished the room for him. They also had the best incentives with three months half price. Everybody had a promotion, but this was the best promotion. They had multiple options daily for all of the meals. They had healthy choices and vegan. The food was excellently prepared. The service was impeccable. You felt like you were on a cruise ship where they came with a cart and they were dressed like serving attire. It was very elegant and delicious food. They also have stuff out all day long. If you want a snack, there's a variety of fruit and pastries and coffees always there and things like that. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They got furniture moved from another room into his room within less than 24 hours of moving in. They clean the rooms. They do the laundry. They provide the sheets and towels, and they're quick to help you. They know people by name, and they chose a buddy for my brother for his first meal there, so he'd have somebody to sit with and talk to and show them around. Thinking about those things to make somebody feel comfortable is kind of a staff thing, that they're thinking about who's living there. They have a lot of activities available. They have a writing group. They were having a band come in and they were doing some Route 66 dishes. They have an arts and crafts room. They have bingo. They have a hair salon, a library, and a chapel. They have transportation to doctor's appointments and shopping. It's very clean. There are people there taking care of things as needed. When the weather gets nice, there's a nice little patio area to sit outside. The rooms have balconies where you can sit out with a chair and get some sun. The rooms are nice with a private bathroom and kitchenette. The dining area is very elegant. For what we're getting there with having the rooms cleaned, having the sheets and towels, having that laundry done every week, all of that stuff, I think the value for what he has and the quality of the meals is very good. Everybody is friendly and helpful.

My friends are staying at Paloma Landing Retirement Community. The apartments had pretty much the same layout. The size of the balcony is about the same and quite large. I ate there, and the food was very good. The staff showed me two available one-bedroom apartments. The rates are about the same. The included perks are probably better than the other facilities. All in all, it would be perfectly satisfactory. This coming year, they are offering a 50% discount, so it's a very good value.

This location is so great! My Monther-in-law has lived here for 7 years and at 92 still plays bridge with friends 3 days a week. She enjoys the meal and company of friends every day.

Paloma Landing was the perfect find for my mom as a senior residence. Her apartment floorplan is spacious and the facilities are well-maintained, bright and sunny, and easy to access. The services are all-encompassing and mom will tell you that the food is some of the best she has had anywhere, especially the homemade soups prepared by the chefs. The residents here are a diverse group of individuals with fascinating life experiences that help fill her days with engagement and community. Best of all are the community managers, Joe and Bruna, who genuinely care about each individual resident as though they are part of their own family. From running activities to managing staff to taking time to know each resident by name and how they take their coffee, their dedication to making a difference others’ lives is evident in everything they do. Looking for a terrific facility in a location with perfect weather and the best service around? Paloma Landing is the answer to your search!

I toured Paloma Landing Gracious Retirement Living, and it was very nice, but I wasn't that impressed with it. Of course, they provided three meals a day, but I was not that impressed. I wanted to have a refrigerator and a stove so that I could cook occasionally if I decided to. They said that I could get a small refrigerator, but I wanted to have a regular kitchenette-type thing, so I did not apply to live there. The apartments were very, very nice, very clean, and well taken care of, but because they don't have any kitchenettes, I decided not to stay there. The staff were very, very gracious, welcoming, and caring. They have a gym, they have a very nice dining room and there is a patio where you could sit and enjoy the weather or read or whatever. They have a beauty salon, too.
