I'm happy with Bright View. My husband has no idea where he is and what's going on, but I'm happy with it. The food that I've seen looks good, but he's on a very limited diet. He's on a soft diet and the food that he eats, for what he needs, is very good. They get a lot of food and they bring him extra stuff if it looks like he's looking for food. I chose them because my husband has physical limitations and they were the only ones willing to work with that. There were a lot of places that I called that said he needed to be in a nursing home or skilled nursing setting, but Bright View took him because they knew they could work with him and they are working with him. Their visitation is still very limited and no visitors are allowed to go into the common areas where they have the activities. I'm not allowed at this point to see them because of Covid. I do know he's always out of his room. The only time he's in his room is for personal hygiene and when he's sleeping.

Brightview Paramus looked beautiful. The lobby was gorgeous and the landscaping outside was lovely. It was a little expensive for my dad, and I don’t think it was a good fit for him. It was more for somebody who was more social and outgoing people. It reminded me of a hotel. They have a lot of games for the seniors to play, a lot of activities, and day trips.
