My husband was a resident for 2 weeks, everyone there took great care of him, big shout out to Pam,she went above and beyond to help us,the nurses and aids did and got anything you asked of them,the food was okay,but staffing was great, I would take him back there if he needs rehabilitation again,thank You for everything the room is nice,my husband enjoyed his therapy said everyone made it fun

My husband and I have an apartment in the Assisted Living Facility. At first it was good, but for the past several months it has been one issue after another. It can take weeks before any issues are addressed, they have a laundry room that is dirty, one dryer (out of 2) doesn't work, and one washer leaks. This has been an ongoing issue for a few months. I may be wrong in saying this, I don't know, but from my observation it appears that employees do the bare minimum. There is a lack of communication as well. Also, if you have an issue that you want to address you are treated like a child. I wish my husband and I had more options, but we want to stay in Cape May County, and options are limited. I recommend highly that before you or a loved one are thinking of coming here that you thoroughly check it out and ask as many questions you can think of, even if they seem irrelevant.

Excellent care here! Staff is wonderful and very cognizant of my mother's needs.

Warning, avoid this place

My sister was here for over a week and the medical staff took no action as her stomach swelled daily. She was only given more pain medication. My sister eventually was rushed to the hospital and it was found her stomach was filled with air and she had a perforated bowel. I also just learned she was abused by a nurse. My sister tried to make it to the bathroom (tried for over an hour to get help) and when she got there and stood up a nurse arrived. Not to help but to push her back into the chair and be told 'she wasn't going to the bathroom she was going back to bed'. A report was filed and the nurse was suspended. This place should be avoided.

The residents at Residence at Oceanview seemed to be enjoying themselves there. We saw them doing their activities and some were playing bingo. The staff seemed adequate. They are very cooperative and helpful. We had a good visit with the facility. I would certainly consider this place strongly.

I'm not happy with Oceanview Rehab. I'm supposed to go to an assisted living. I've been here since March and I did get rehabilitated. But I have to wait forever to get into an assisted living. Some of the staff are good, some forget it.
