I WAS ON THE 1ST FLOOR, I HAVE A LIST OF NAMES OF PEOPLE WHO WERE WONDERFUL. +-MARGARITA, GUERDA, KELLY NAPTALIE, WADIA, JACELYN. ALSO PAYAL &ARIA FROM THERAPY, &STEVE REC AIDE. ALSO THE PEOPLE IN THE KITCHEN. THEY WERE ALL SO GOOD TO ME, THANK YOU TO THEM ALL. SHERRY BERRY

i spend almost 2 months here and like any facility there were minor issue here and there but overal i was very please with the care i received. i had suffered a stroke and the staff took very good care of me

Horrible Incredibly understaffed No one cares about patients there. My father was in fell 2x and the second time they hid it from us until one of the nurses came in and had sense enough to have him sent to Morristown ( since he’s on blood thinners and could have died). This was several hours after his fall and even after my sister and I was there visiting him ( no one told us). Turns out he had a uti and blood infection that was from being neglected at JDT an infection due to not being cleaned up. He was in the hospital for 2 more weeks. This place would only be okay if your loved one is okay on their own and need little to no help.

My husband was a patient there for one week in March 2023. The care he received was awful. The staff were generally indifferent. The food was inedible and not in accordance with the strict diabetic diet he was supposed to receive. Numerous errors with medication administration and poor communication with the medical staff. Due to the poor quality of care I worried about his wellbeing. I do not recommend this facility at all. Avoid and go anywhere else.

You could find better care in the alley outside your local hospital. Dumpster food probably tastes better than what they serve at JDT. Avoid at all cost.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I found the staff to be competent, attentive and kind. Anna and Ewa on the first floor staff were so conscientious as was the third floor staff including Monika, Mercy and Anna. There were others who made sure that my meals were timely and tasty and who exchanged welcomed pleasantries while keeping my room and bathroom spotless. I’m sorry not to have remembered their names but their pleasant demeanor is not forgotten. My physical therapist, Toyin, and my occupational therapist, Suzanne, restored my ability to use my knee 100% , all done with kind patience and good humor! I’m grateful to know that such a facility is close to home! Thank you all for your dedication!

My husband was at JDT The Villa for 3 months and while he was there we encountered experienced, compassionate, professional people who encouraged both of us during his stay. Michael, (PT Therapists), Sharon (Occupational Therapist) and Alex(Speech Therapists) were exceptional! The nursing staff (Wilis, Morgan, Amanda, Sara (to name a few) and CNA's (Kelly, Svela and Guida)were always there to help us. Sue(Concierge) and Betsy always had a friendly smile and ready to assist us with whatever we may have needed. One person in particular who went over and beyond was Sneha Patel (Assistant Director of Nursing). Sneha is a compassionate, caring exceptional nurse!

My father progressed leaps and bounds during his time at JDT Villas. The staff, therapist and entire team were devoted to his care, comfort and progress. They always treated us with kindness and it felt like they became and extension of our family. My father's only critique was on the food- but he's very picky and stubborn. We ordered delivery as a treat and that seemed to do the trick!

My husband is in JDT Villa. The people are very nice. The room is beautiful. You have your own suite and a bathroom, and an extra area if you want to sleep over. They have a pullout couch that turns into a bed. They have activities going on for the people who can join in. It's really a nice place. They're very helpful. The staff is pretty good. My husband is on pureed food because he has aspiration pneumonia, but when he was better he had the food, and it was very good. They have something they call a healing garden, and it's inside. It's all trees and plants and a pond. You can go and sit there, take the patient there and relax. It's very pretty. They have bingo over the TV, and you can play in your room. They have sing-alongs in the healing garden, they have a person that comes in for art with modeling clay, and you can make something with modeling clay. They have three buildings there. One is strictly for memory care and Alzheimer's, the rehab unit where my husband is in, and then they have long-term nursing care, but there was a waiting list for that and we couldn't get in that.

We would like to give JDT Resorts Rehab Center in Lincoln Park NJ the 5 Star review they deserve. Would actually say a 5 Star Plus. I spent the last 3 months at their facility and I cannot stress enough the level of care and compassion was extraordinary. From the Reception area to the Consierge who walks you through the process to the Nursing Staff and Physical Therapists, your Social Worker, the scheduled visits and to all in the Administration Department, you could not have had a better experience. They do get to be an extended family for you and your own family. Their personal touch and the relationships you develop with them are so important and they make that happen with such ease. We will miss all of them!

The staff was great ...more than great...I can't find the words to describe how grateful I am for all they've done for me I feel so much stronger than I did when I 1st came here and I owe it all to the therapy ,nursing and all the departments. I would recommend JDT Villa to anyone

As a healthcare professional, I was not satisfied with my father’s care. I do not believe that his vitals were being checked regularly, as my father was transferred to a hospital from the facility for psychological medical attention. Upon arrival, the hospital discovered that my father was in sepsis. I am not sure how this was overlooked, and am truly disappointed by the quality of care provided. I am sorry that we allowed him to receive care here. Rest In Peace, dad.

My sister was admiited from Chilton to the Villa for physical re-hab. She was put through excrutiating exercise - seems the compression fracture in her exrays were not shared in a timely fashion. Communication remained less than adequate from the primary doctor (Rappaport) to the Villa staff. Money spent for marketing this place should go to hiring more than one administrator as well as staff who do more than fulfilling their required check lists. My sister lingered in pain for days - That her situation required medical treatment and not physical therapy was never assessed urgently. The "triage mentality" of this place is a result of inadequate communication, lack of staff, and arrogance of false advertising that would make future clients feel taken care of. I would hope that no family member would have to go through what my sister did. Mind you, I called every morning and did follow ups on procedures that were to have taken place. Many times, the floor nurses weren't even briefed.

My 95 year old uncle was brought here for rehab after breaking his hip. The staff do not want to be bothered with any level of care. He came in with a catheter which we were told would be removed on his arrival. Five days later and after repeatedly asking the catheter has not been removed. We were told he was disturbing other patients because he was calling for help. We brought in a private aid for overnight. She had to shower him because they never showered him in 5 days. Today we called the social worker to say that we were moving him to another facility. One hour later my husband gets a call saying that they sent him to the hospital because his hemoglobin was low. No one called us before he was transported. From what we have been told if you move someone from a rehab center to another rehab it reflects unfavorably on the facility so it appears that they sent him to the hospital to avoid this situation. DO NOT send your loved ones to this facility!!!

Stay far away from this disgrace of a Rehabilitation Center. My Mother was here for 4 weeks and she was treated very poorly. I wouldn't put my dog or worse enemy here. The CNA she had was a nightmare. She left my mother in the bathroom one day for 1 hour. She would yell at my Mom for things she had no control over. She left my mother in a wet depends for over 5 hours everyday. You had to ask for a shower and that was tough to get. The food sucks, I wouldn't feed it to my dog. When mom would ask for a cup of tea or sugar free cookies in the evening, it was like asking to see the President. One day when I was taking her to BINGO the CNA forgot to turn on the portable oxygen. My mother obtained bed and feet sores from sitting in the wheelchair all day, everyday.....the bandages were not changed on a daily basis as they were suppose to. The CNA dropped the shower head on my moms head. The PT forgot to lock the wheelchair one day and mom feel getting into it and they blamed her. My mothers room was always dirty with food and paper on the floor, that we brought a broom to clean it everyday. There was never a doctor around in the evenings when I got off of work to ask questions. The place is understaffed.....7 patients to one CNA. One nurse for 14 patients. Her nurse was outstanding I must say. On March 8th someone there took a chest X-Ray for what reason....we have no idea. They never contacted my sister about this. That night when I went to see mom she looked horrible. Her oxygen level was very low. She said she didn't feel well ALL DAY!!!!!!! I had her transported to the hospital immediately, which by the way took over an hour to get Pulse to pick her up. Unfortunately she was not good when we arrived at the hospital, she passed away the following morning. I can not stress enough how poorly this place cares about their elderly patients. STAY FAR AWAY from here!!!!!!!

My mother stayed in the JDT Villa. It was brand new, so it was very clean and very modern. The look was excellent and the workers were good. The food was questionable. It was pre-packed, so it's not fresh and there was a lot of salt in it. Therapy was good, but they got her out of there prematurely because they said Medicare was not going to pay for it. She was there for about two months. It's like a hotel and the rooms were big.

My mother was at JDT Villa rehab to recover from surgery for a hip fracture . The second night she was there she fell out of bed. I received a call early in the morning advising me of the fall. When I arrived, my mom was in her wheelchair moaning and crying in pain. Her wrist was red and swollen as as a result of the fall. I had to ask them to put an ice pack on it. Nobody thought to do that prior to my requesting it?? Then we waited until 9:30 PM for an Xray. The following day I had to repeatedly ask them to follow up on the results of the Xray. Back to the ER we went to get her fractured wrist set. Needless to say, I refused to have my mom return to JDT after her discharge from the hospital. The care there was absolutely inadequate-not nearly enough aides or nurses and no follow up. Do NOT send a loved one there!

I was very disappointed with the care and the maintenance of the facility found it dirty and very poorly staffed 1 aid for 14 patients really found my mother soiled and left in bed.

I stayed here or two weeks after double knee replacements, my concerns are as follows: the night shift from 11p-6am, some were great!! Others were scary! Did not know how to care for my injuries. Seemed oblivious to the fact that I needed help getting in n out of bed etc. I had to tell them what to do!! Secondly, the PT area was not c?ean! Each time i went down (everyday for two weeks) the same dust balls were still there!! The therapists never, ever wiped aNything down after usage. Did not seem to be a priority. There is also a therapist who always had his fingers and palm of his hand in his mouth. I am not exaggerating! Always chomping on his hands! Completely unacceptable in my opinion. Food nothing to write home about. Could be better. Looks great on outside, my humble opinion is they need to work on these things...then would be great. Sanitation is priority. Outpatient PT is entirely another matter. Great that they have a pick up service. Unfortunately, they do not have enough enough therapists to handle all the patients. There are only two. So you spend a lot of time waiting around, on your dime. Not fair.

I visited this facility

The management is terriable. After visiting the facility and filling out forms the receptionist said the room admissions mgrs would contact me. After not receiving a call, I called back leaving messages for the next 3 days. After all that they mixed my mothers records up with a non-compliant patient at the hospital and declined care for her. After the hospital straightened up the situation they still were a disaster to deal with. After more research I received feedback from patients that stayed there and said the care was incompetent and rude. If you consider having a loved one stay there my advise would look else where.

I visited this facility

I am a care taker for a senior who was in the villa at LP, it's clean, spacious, and well kept. Staff is attentive to all needs. I would highly recommend this facility for a loved one, my senior is recovering fast and on her way back to her healthy self.

I visited this facility

I just came home after almost 2 weeks at JDT following my total knee replacement on Feb, 17th. I have nothing but positive thoughts and feelings regarding this facility. The entire staff was very courteous and attentive throughout my stay. There are numerous physical and occupational therapists there allowing for 1 on 1 therapy. The nurses and nurse aids on call were nothing but terrific and would constantly stop by to see if I was comfortable and /or in need of anything. 5 stars! The food was... ok. There were some meals that were good and other's not so much. Kinda the way it goes in a facility like this I guess. I do plan on getting my other knee done when the time is right and I have no plans go go anywhere else for rehab.

I visited this facility

Outstanding care was provided to me following my recent surgery. The entire staff was kind, compassionate and caring. This includes nurses, nurses aides, physical and occupational therapists, transport aides and housekeeping staff. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The building is state-of-the-art gorgeous from top to bottom, inside and out. I couldn't imagine any other facility being comparable and therefore highly recommend JDT Villa.

JDT Villa came highly recommended by the hospital where I worked at so I put my mom there as soon as she got out from the hospital. So far the facility is very clean and very nice. It looks like a hotel. I have no complaints about it. In their rehab, they have multiple therapists doing the therapy all at once. The staff are very good and helpful. Mom is in a private room and everything is very neat, modern, and clean. The food is very good there and they are paying attention to mom's diet. They do have different activities like movies, arts and crafts, and bingo.
