The staff are wonderful. It was the hardest thing I had to do to put my husband in memory care. He has problems and they work with him. They are very kind to me also. He has a nice room an d they take very good care of him. I am so glad he is in a safe place.

My mom is already in Arbors Memory Care. They solely specialize in memory care. They don't have just senior living or assisted on the premises, so I felt like she would have more consistent care with that experience. With COVID going on, they have a quarantine time, so we haven't been able to visit yet. In viewing everything before her moving in, the rooms were nice and the facility was clean. The residents there seemed clean and well cared for. Everybody was very kind, the staff and the caregivers. I've just been a little frustrated with communication. They had a library, they had a TV room, a chapel, and they had a beauty salon-barber shop area. They had some indoor cages for the birds, and it's a good sitting area. I've known other people whose family members have been there too, and they rate them very highly. The staff members were great and they always have been very kind to work with. They've tried to answer any questions we had and tried to keep us informed at that time. There were some things that they thought the information they gave us ended up being a little different when it came down to her going in. The building itself is in great shape, it's very beautiful.

I toured Arbors Memory Care for my husband. It was very good, but the building itself was a little old. The rooms were good. I only saw one of the rooms and they provide furniture, so that was good. The staff was very well. I spoke with two people, and I was very impressed with both of them. The dining area was large. When I was there, the residents were just watching TV. They did show me a calendar of events that they have throughout the day. They have a hair salon. The place was very large, and it's set up in kind of a large circle. There was a lot of walking space, outdoor space, and a lot of sunlight. And memory care is all they do. The whole thing just kind of flowed together and it was nice. I didn't notice too much about the cleanliness, but I noticed the carpeting on the floor was old.

Arbors Memory Care Community is privately owned and family owned. I like that it is not owned by a big corporation. I had been there before, and the rooms were very nice. They had singles, doubles, and triples. They had rooms for 65 residents, but at the time I went there, they had 30. The rooms looked like hotel rooms. They're big, they had lots of windows, and there's lots of sun. They had a large community area. I love the executive director and the community outreach person. They're friendly, and they actually enjoy what they're doing. I wasn't crazy about the nurse, but I like her. I have met the tech people. I think they all really like what they do, and they have been there for a long time. They enjoy the people that they're working with and the people that they're serving. They're just great. It's clean, and the grounds were beautiful. There is no trash, and it's all fenced in and secure. It has a metal fence, so that you can actually see through it. Residents can go out there and wander around all they want. If your relative needed to go into memory care, you'd want them to go into a place like this.

Having a loved one in a home makes for difficult times, Often we can't see them and wonder if they are being well cared for. I volunteered at Arbor's for five years and can reassure you that both caregivers and management are very fond of every resident in their care. They go to great lengths to meet everyone's needs and wishes and see to it that the residents feel at home at the facility. So many times when the family cannot be there, caregivers give extra time when residents are sick. They sit by their beds and hold their hands so they do not feel alone, or caregivers and management take time to just simply talk with residents when they miss their families. I can honestly say that the residents who are away from their family have another family at Arbor's. I would not have stayed volunteering if this would not be so. I spend most of my career in the health care field and know good care. I hope this will give you all a little peace of mind regarding your loved one. Ingrid H. Fulton PhD.

My step-mother has been a resident at the Arbors Memory Care for more than 2 years and we love the care she receives there. The staff show such compassion and love for their residents, as if they were caring for their own family member. They also provide constant support for the residents’ families as we go through this journey. I can't tell you how many times I have cried trying make sense of what is happening and they just know exactly what to say. Doesn't make things better, but makes me feel better. During this COVID-19 pandemic, they have been even more outstanding. They have taken every precaution they can to keep their community safe so that both staff and residents are protected. Families receive regular communication on what is happening, easing our minds that our loved ones are in great hands. The rooms are a good size. There are plenty of activities and a calendar is available so families know what is happening when. They often host family events such as mother's day brunch and father's day activities for all to join in. There is an on-site beauty salon and spaces for larger family gatherings to use as well. Much love and thanks to the Arbors Memory Care staff!
