The Echelon Las Vegas, NV

I moved into The Echelon Senior Living last week. I'm very impressed. I have a walk-in kitchen, a living room, and a large balcony on the outside. I have a queen bed in the bedroom, two nightstands, a walk-in closet, a shower, and a washroom with a washer and dryer. I have meals three times a day, seven days a week, and I have housekeeping come in once a week. They have activities throughout the whole week, and they give us an activity sheet. They have a salon and barber on-site, too. They have a pool and jacuzzi on-site. We have transportation to store, bank, or to our doctors, and you have to sign up for it. We have sit-down dining room. The office staff is very nice, very knowledgeable, and they give good information. The cafeteria staff that I met seemed good, and the different neighbors I met seemed very friendly.

The Echelon Senior Living was excellent and gave me and my son a complimentary room for one night with cookies and drinks. They offered us a meal, but my son wanted to get pizza. The facility was clean. The room was very nice and had a nice kitchen layout with a breakfast bar. They keep the rooms clean with nice furnishing and TV. They had two bedrooms with 1-1/2 baths, but it was not in my budget. It's modern and clean, and the landscaping was very good. The staff was very friendly.

I visited the facility and met directly with the owner. I was impressed with the facility to date (almost completed construction). I felt very comfortable meeting the staff and listening to residents of another facility operated by the same owner in Richfield, OH.

We love The Echelon Senior Living. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The people here are in my age bracket, and we know we have a good life to live. The food is excellent. We have a musical activity every Wednesday where they bring in people to entertain us. We have exercise and everything. You name it, we got it.

My relative found Echelon, but she has not moved in yet. We liked the location, amenities, and the food. They had a wide open menu where you could choose anything you wanted, and everything we tried was good.

I love the Echelon. Compared to everything else we went to, their apartments were quite large. It is independent living, but they offer the meals, they offer entertainment, they have transportation, and they have nice-sized apartments. Laundry is right there, and they have a cleaning service. The lady who did the sales -- I loved her to death. She was very gracious about letting us eat there so that we could get a good feel of the residents who were there who all seemed very happy. It did seem that people were all very friendly. My friend there is very pleased with this place. They have a lot of landscaping, they have also a pool and a hot tub, and the pool is heated, so we can use it now. There is a barber shop and a beauty place on the premises, and somebody is there two days a week. If you give them input, they will try and do that. They have somebody coming in to do service for Jewish people today; that never happened over where we used to be, so that was kind of nice. It doesn’t happen all the time, but at least they are doing that because they know they have a larger Jewish population. They are catering to the needs of the residents. Their food is really good. If I could afford it, I would move in.

Echelon has wonderful food, and we get three meals a day. For activities, they have a gym, and we’re playing pool. The rooms are fine, and we got a beautiful view of a beautiful landscape. The staff is wonderful and very sociable, which is what's nice about this place.

My aunt lives at The Echelon Senior now and is pretty happy there. There is nothing negative to say about it. The rooms are very nice. She eats three meals a day and pays for cleaning. I will recommend it. It is a very nice place. There aren't any nurses on staff because she is in independent living. They have everything for activities, like chair exercises, cards, a workout room, and a library. Plus, they have holiday parties. The dining room is nice.
