We have chosen Lakeview Terrace of Boulder City for my mom. It was good to see that there were people out and about. People were eating, and there were people at a meeting. The view is to die for, too. If you're going to be having to sit in your room time after time, there's something to look at. It's just nice to see. And the people were just amazing. They're very nice, very pleasant, and very helpful. They have meetings with the nurse, and they have meetings with one another. It's not just the staff making decisions, the community has a say in things. They have a salon, and they have somebody that comes in for nails as well.

I went to Lakeview Terrace of Boulder City. My relatives are moving there. It was affordable. It was nice, and the people were nice. I walked through the facility and I looked at the room, the rooms that were available, and spoke with the staff there. It had accommodations. It was an older facility, but it was clean. They have activities, and transportation. Outside there's a lake, there are mountains, and there's a park.

Our tour experience with Lakeview Terrace of Boulder City was great. They just couldn't provide the level of care we needed for my dad. We felt like we had a good look at the place. I didn't meet too many staff because of COVID. We just met the marketing person who does the tour. She was good, she was very responsive, and she called us back a couple of times. She's great. The facilities were adequate -- nothing fancy. It was just nice and pretty simple, and we actually thought that it seemed good for my father, whom we're looking to put there, because he's not a fancy guy. It was more basic than some of the other ones. The dining hall was also fine, but they had barely started getting the people back in the dining hall because of restrictions.

My parents lived in Lakeview Terrace of Boulder City for three weeks. They were just trying to get used to assisted living and didn't like it. I didn't think there was anything wrong with Lakeview Terrace; they just insisted I move them, so I did. The staff was great. My parents just weren't happy, but unfortunately, they are not going to be happy anywhere. Their room was really nice. It was great; it was like an apartment. They had a kitchenette, a separate bedroom, and a bathroom. The room was big, with lots of storage and huge closets; it was really nice. They didn't like the food, but I don't know if it was a fair assessment. Everybody was nice. The memory care was in a basement -- that I don't like. I wasn't super excited about the memory care there. It was more on the pricey side.

We went to the Lakeview Terrace of Boulder City and spent some time with two staff members doing evaluations. Based upon the interview of the staff, viewing the facility from the outside and the general area, it's a very nice place to go. It was a very nice residential area. We did a virtual tour, then we decided to do some looking, so we went and drove up. The administrator came out and we had a long discussion with her. Then, the resident nurse came out, evaluated my wife, and determined that she needed the mental unit. The facilities were very clean and very orderly.
