We are residents of Our Lady of Life Apartments. We came here and saw the facility. It's nice and clean. It has a restaurant here where you have a meal every day for dinner. They have lunch now but you can have lunch or dinner, one meal a day. Everyone is so friendly here. If you missed the drawing card, they have a lot of activities available. Card playing, it's just a different thing. You can keep busy as you want to be. The only bill we pay there is rent. Electricity, water, gas, and sewer are included. Maintenance will even hang pictures for you. It's very convenient. The bus takes you to grocery stores. It's a great place. The maintenance and housekeeping people don't clean inside your apartment. This is total independent living except for the one meal a day in the dining room but they keep this place spotless. You get your room sprayed every six months for bugs. Then they changed the filters in the air conditioner and heaters. Wherever you come from they take good care of us. We have a new company that has taken over the kitchen and they've been floundering a little bit. It's hard to get help but the staff takes good care of this. I think they're coming along better with the food. We use elevators. We're on the fourth floor. It's a four-story building. It's laid out nicely. Some have balconies on the first floors. Some have patios. It's like living in a park. They have activities. They have entertainment that comes in at least once a week. It's a beautiful ballet and very talented. We have parties all the time. They also have a daily mass for those that are Catholic, they have a nice chapel. This place is most reasonable.

We liked Our Lady of Life Apartments. The staff was very cooperative and very helpful. They didn't have a two-bedroom available at that time, but they let us peek into one that someone already occupied and it looked very nice. They have a lot of amenities. They have bus transportation and a lot of different activities.

I toured Our Lady of Life Apartments. It's an older development, but it's well kept. The apartments were small, but the people were informative, and it's a nice facility. A lot of people liked it there.

Our Lady of Life Apartments is run by Catholic charities, which is important to us. We're on a list for an apartment. It was very nice, and the people were very friendly. They had a beautiful dining room. It's like a coop. You have to buy the apartment. They had a barber shop, a beautiful yard, and walking paths. They had a memory care there, assisted living, and end-of-life care. They play cards and bridge, and the amenities are good.

My mother is a resident at Our Lady of Life. I cannot say enough good things about the environment, the opportunity for socialization, the services available. Ann, the Director is wonderful and so caring. The other tenants are friendly and outgoing. There is plenty of opportunity for Mass. Everyone associated with OLOL is considerate and kind.

We visited Our Lady of Life. I didn’t like that they had a laundry room on each floor and that residents had to take their laundry there. The residents couldn’t do laundry in their own apartments. The place only served one meal a day, and they had the same activities as everywhere else. They had card games, lectures, and field trips. We didn’t see very many staff there. They weren’t as visible as they were in the other places.

Our Lady of Life Apartments is Catholic-oriented, and that is our faith. She has her own bed in her room, and it is like a little apartment. Sanitation is spotless. It is absolutely safe, and the location is perfect. I love it. Everything about it is great.

My mother chose Our Lady of Life Apartments because some of her friends also lived there. It was a beautiful and clean place. She had a small one bedroom apartment but it was enough for one person. I have not tried the food but she seemed to like it, there were a lot of varieties. There was a newsletter every month and there were activities they could do everyday if they wanted to. I also liked that she was well taken care of and if emergencies came up, somebody would be there.
Senior apartments cater to seniors' lifestyles & unique preferences, but do not provide personal care or supervision. This housing option allows seniors to maintain their freedom and privacy, while also offering great amenities like housekeeping and laundry services.
