One of my friends lives at Brentmoor Retirement Community. The food is pretty good. The staff is nice. What I don't like is they have a cocktail hour at 3:45 and dinner at 5. The facility is nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a game room, they have televisions there, and they have group social hours before dinner. They have different programs during the day like classes and activities.

My mother used to live in the Brentmoor Retirement Community. They don't have memory care, but they have assisted living which is on the second floor, and then they have independent living. She moved out a year ago in September. She loved Brentmoor. They had a really beautiful restaurant, the food was great, and her place was gorgeous. She had a 2-bedroom apartment, and it's got beautiful views. The staff was wonderful, and it was a very, very nice place. She had a nice group of friends, and she really enjoyed it. She had a full kitchen, a living room, a dining room, 2-bedrooms, and 2-bathrooms. They have a 1-bedroom and they have studios, but she wanted an extra bedroom in case somebody came to visit 'cause all my siblings, we all live in different States. Usually once a month they would go to a restaurant or they'd take a drive somewhere like Marquette which is a couple hours away. They took outings downtown, they had all sorts of people coming showing all sorts of stuff, cooking, speakers, they had political speakers and historical people come. It was a very stimulating place, and it was a very good fit for her. They had an occupational therapist within the building. They had really good food 'cause I would go over there and eat with my mom a lot. The staff was wonderful. They had this little tag, like a "Do Not Disturb" tag, and when they were up in the morning, they would just put it out and say "I'm OK." So, someone would go around every day checking, and when it wasn't on the door, they would check to make sure they were all right, so that was kind of nice. They had exercise. They were kind of pricey for independent living. I think the last time, her payments were $3700 to $3800 a month, and I'm sure it has probably gone up.

Brentmoor Retirement Community was even more so for old people, but it was very well-run and well-managed. The person who showed me around was very nice, polite, and enthusiastic. His eagerness was just a little bit over the top, but he was still very good. The rooms themselves were nicer than the other place we looked at. It's also a higher quality place. It just looked a little bit more updated and well-kept.

The guy who gave us the tour of Brentmoor was excellent. It was a very nice community. Everything was fine. You can go to their independent living and then move into assisted living, so it's perfect that way. The living atmosphere was perfect. The only issue was that my mom is not sure she has enough money because it is pricey. Other than that, it was excellent. The room was perfect. There was enough room. The residents welcomed my mom, which was nice. We were there during their mealtime. Everything was nice; she enjoyed the food. My mom liked the place. Everything was clean. The lobby and the reception were nice. They have entertainment for the residents on certain days. They had a TV room, a library, and a room where they can play games and cards. They also have an exercise area where they have equipment set up. They have a shuttle that takes them to church and to the grocery store.

I liked Brentmoor Retirement, it was clean, there were things to do, and the people were friendly. The staff is excellent, the room they showed was a 1-bedroom apartment, and the activities looked very doable and age-appropriate. They dont have a pool, but they have an exercise room.

My husband is at Brentmoor and he likes it. It's a very handsome edifice. He has a lovely studio apartment which serves him well. It's all he needs. The second floor is dedicated to assisted living, but my husband is in the retirement part of the building. They take him mall-walking and he takes exercise classes. My husband loves the food. There's plenty of it and it's very well-prepared. He's very happy with it.

Brentmoor Retirement Community was very nice and very well kept up. The people were nice. They would take the residents to places. I would recommend this place to other people. The apartments were big.

Brentmoor was a very tall building that had two-bedroom, two-bath units; one-bedroom, one-bath units; and also efficiency unit. They had a central place for laundry on the lowest level, a nice dining room, and each unit had a balcony. It was nice, and I liked the location. However, I don’t like that you have to go all the way down to the basement to wash your clothes, and also, we have two cars and there is room for parking only one car.

Brentmoor was really nice but a little older. We're considering it. The staff was really nice, very pleasant, and great. The rooms were a little dark and didn't have a lot of sunshine in them, but it might have just been the room I was looking at. I liked them. They were pleasant, not disagreeable, and had game tables.

The Brentmoor is a 12 story apartment building that has been converted into a retirement community. What I liked about the floor plan was that there are a limited number of apartments on each floor; no long hallways. The staff is super-friendly. The one bedroom apartment we were shown was significantly larger than most apartments we have seen in other retirement communities. One drawback of the Brentmoor is that it sits at the intersection of a major street and a highway, so the place has an urban feel.

Brentmoor Retirement Community was even more expensive but I really loved the floor andcloset space, but it was out of our price range. The dining room was very nice, and the rooms were exceptional because they were very large and spacious. I think it was like 680 square feet for one bedroom. The space was very good.

Brentmoor was great. They had one floor of assisted living. The food was excellent.A father of my friend lives there. She was really happy with it. I have gone with her when she visited her father. The faciltiy was really nice. The staff treated the residents with dignity, and they were always available. They had entertainment, and they also had a big dining area.

We have just been very happy with what we found at Brentmoor. We're moving in probably the first of December. It was less than a mile from our house, so it was closer to our grocery store, to our drugstore and to our cleaners. They have about less than 100 retired people living there whereas some of the other places have 300 people. We also like that they have been most accommodating. We have a puppy and this place would allow pets. The staff has been wonderful, most accommodating and very outgoing and friendly. They have us over for dinner so that we could sample their food and apparently it had been great.
