We were moved from one RCF to this one without seeing first. It is wonderful, clean well decorated and maintained. My relative's room is up to date with decor and nice furnishings. The meals are good, and variety is good. The Director of Nurses is amazing, she is always on top of everything with my relative's care. She helps with room mate issues, medical issues and daily issues of activities of daily living. The nursing staff has been great, they always know how my relative is doing and what meds she has taken and her blood sugars. They work well with the doctors and social workers that are also helping with care. They have lots of activities and also take them off property. There are dogs that come and stay during day with the residents, how comforting. Our family could not be happier.

My mom stayed at Victorian Place of Cuba for three months. It was not very good. Just after we got her in there, the head administrator quit, so didn't have anyone to run the place. There weren't any cooks there to make dinner, and no nurses to administer medications. It wasn't a very good experience. They had so many people quitting and leaving and did not have a permanent staff. It wasn't a very good experience for my mom. It was a very unorganized deal. They need to improve on everything.
