Honestly, we feel so lucky to have my in-laws here at Keystone. I tell everyone, it's like the "Disney World" of senior living spots. It has all levels of care, currently my in-laws are at the independent stage there. Every single staff member here is amazing. Kind, caring, responsible, fun, and well-informed about this demographic. They love the food and choices here, and we have joined them and been pleased as well. The size of Keystone is key--not so large that they get "lost" with hundreds of residents, yet not to small. The wide range of activities, both daily and special ones added just to spice up the lives of these wonderful residents, is another advantage. Although my husband's parents do not participate in many activities, as they prefer to stay in their apartment, we have observed many happy residents enjoying socializing, learning and playing together. All such key elements that research has shown improves the cognitive and social/emotional sides of each person there! The few times we have gotten them to partake, they really enjoy it and that's a HUGE, over-the-top compliment to the wellness staff at Keystone! The move=in process, which can typically be high stress level, was uncomplicated to the utmost degree. The staff there were so very accommodating, and the apartment is lovely and just perfect for them. Again, we are truly grateful for Keystone Living at Lavalle Fields. We toured MANY facilities in the area. This one has the BEST staff. In this business that means everything. AND their apartment and the rest of the amenities there are top-notch. I am constantly recommending this spot to friends, a true sign of how well this establishment is managed and maintained.

I interviewed SEVERAL places to find the perfect “home” for my parents. After touring and visiting Keystone I went home and immediately called and committed to this facility! They have gone above and beyond in all areas. It is extremely difficult for aging parents to leave their home, neighbors and self care to move to assisted living. Many family and friends judge your decisions, but the entire process has been amazing for me. The staff at Keystone has not only supported my parents but listen to me and help me whenever needed. My parents have been living here for over 7 1/2 years and I would NEVER move them. There has not been one day where I wasn’t 100% confident in my decision. I can’t thank the staff enough for all they do…everyday!

The staff are so well trained in caring for residents with dementia/Alzheimer’s. They are patient and treat everyone with dignity and respect. The activities are always keeping my mom busy and out of her room

Probably the experience that stands out most prominently is the genuine concern and care that is provided by the nurses aides. This was especially evident when my wife was approaching her end of life period. When I witnessed an aide bend over to give my wife a hug and say "I love you" - and mean it - it truly touched my heart. This level of care and concern was not atypical but rather typical. I often referred to them as my wife's angels, which they truly were. In addition to the attentive and compassionate aides, the rest of the staff was always responsive to our needs and did so in a cheerful and accommodating manner.

Our (step) mom Velda has resided at Keystone since shortly after they opened. She enjoys the range of activities and loves socializing with her friends at meals. We have always been well informed about what is happening at Keystone and really appreciate how the handled the COVID pandemic,

My mother has lived at Keystone for seven years. It is so impressive to see first hand the TLC given to mom and equally impressive at the continuity of care. Staff turnover is to be expected - but the number of staff that have remained year after year is a gift. My mother LOVES it at Keystone.

Keystone Place at LaValle Fields was very clean, and the staff was extremely friendly. The average age in independent living was 82, which seemed a little bit more than what I'm ready for. They showed me a 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment, and it was nice. I saw a happy hour while I was there.

Keystone Place at LaValle Fields was very clean. The gentleman that's in charge of the place informed me on everything and was very helpful. They were very, very nice to deal with. I liked it very much, but it was just more expensive than where my parents are right now. I looked at a studio and it was smaller, but it was nice and everything was very well kept up. They're very modern and updated. For meals, you get to pick whatever you want. They also have a gym and nice patios for both assisted living and memory care residents to enjoy. They have a lot of activities, too, such as boat cruises.

Keystone at LaValle Fields in Hugo, MN is where my mother has lived for the past 4 years in the independent living arm of this mulit-level facility. The facility is always clean, with caring staff members at every level. When residents have a concern, they addresses quickly. I cannot say enough good things about Keystone. From the director, to the housekeeping, maintenance staff, chef, and everyone in between, caring and concern for the residents well being is part of their core values. The many varied activities keep the residents busy with fun things to do. You will not worry about your loved one(s) at all when they are living at Keystone at LaValle Fields!

I think Keystone Place at LaValle Fields would be able to fulfill my overall needs at this point. It's not far from where we live and close to my doctor and my husband. The facility is quite a large place, but on a smaller scale. I believe that they're looking at adding some more units. The two bedroom is quite large, open, and airy with a patio. It has a nice living room, a decent kitchen, and laundry. They have their own chef, and their meals look good.

Our mother is extremely happy and healthy at Keystone Place. Everyone on the team is very helpful, genuinely caring and friendly; the admin staff is knowledgeable and responsive; the decor is bright and clean and the atmosphere is upbeat. We could not have found a better place for our mother to live. I highly recommend Keystone Place!

This facility is very clean. My grandfather LOVES the food. As with all over facilities, there can be times of staffing shortages which makes longer waits on call buttons but overall the staff does their best and is kind and helpful. It is a tad spendy but you get what you pay for here so it is understood.

My mother has been at Keystone Place at LaValle Fields for 1 year after having been at another assisted living facility. She is the happiest I have seen her in a very long time. She is 94 and very complimentary of Keystone. The staff and management are very caring and honestly address her needs. She has made close friends at Keystone and I can tell her social group has become extremely important to her. The setting is very nice, close to Hugo but in a semi-rural setting. I highly recommend Keystone.

We love everything about Keystone! The staff could not be more helpful! Mom has been an assisted living resident for a few months now, and she’s really starting to love having someone else do the cooking and the cleaning. She worked hard her whole life, and is now enjoying this part. The entire complex is kept very clean. They are quick to respond to situations that arise. The units are built very well, and sound proof. You won’t hear my Mom’s very loud TV :)

The staff is very caring and professional. They encourage residents to stay involved by providing lots of activities and gentle encouragement. My experience has been that the care they provide is very sincere that the people who work there take this as a vocation rather than a job.

I visited Keystone Place a year and a half ago with my parents. I guess it's too expensive for them. There's this one lady that showed us around. At someone's apartment, and kinda told us what it all acquires. We didn't go into a specific detail, but she kinda told us how much it would cost for the both mom and dad with parking. And we just figured that that was just too much, too expensive for them. The tour was okay. Probably could use more information. The facility looked nice; I'll give it a 3 because she didn't show us everywhere. It should have had more activities for residents, but I know right now it's hard. She did say this is the crafts room, she didn't say what kind of crafts or activities in there. I would say more social activities, but we know right now is a bad time for things but more stuff for them for the elderly to do.

I was comfortable with Keystone Place at LaValle Fields when I walked in and I liked what I saw. Michelle, the person who showed me around, was very pleasant, and I got the information I needed. I saw the 2-bedroom 2-bath, a 1-bedroom 1-bath, and there was a smaller 2-bedroom 2-bath. I liked that they have kitchens since I still like to cook. They basically have a full kitchen that wasn't tucked away into a little corner. I was impressed with what I saw. I liked the location, the way it was set up, and that it wasn't on a busy street.

My parents live at Keystone and we can't say enough about how wonderful it is. My dad is in the memory care unit and being well cared for everyday by staff who truly care about each resident. Making this transition for my dad was a hard choice for my mom but after a tour and talking with the administration she truly felt this was the right place for him. My mom lives in an independent apartment just a few steps away from my dad so she can see him everyday. My mom enjoys participating in the variety of activities offered everyday and has made many friends. The staff are friendly and caring not only to the residents but also to their family members. The building is beautiful and well maintained. I would highly recommend Keystone.

We moved my mother into Keystone Place at LaValle Fields. It's a couple of miles from my home, so it's close, and it seems like a really nice facility. So far, we've really been happy with it. The amenities fit all our needs. This place seems smaller than other facilities and just a little bit more fitting for her. Everybody makes you feel welcome and the services they offered fit what she wanted as far as the size of the rooms and the apartments. I liked it better, and felt more comfortable there. I haven't had any issues. I've eaten there and the food is of good quality and there's a good selection. The staff is excellent. Everybody has been very accommodating and very friendly. It's clean and kept up very good. They have a lot of stuff on their calendar, but she hasn't taken part in a lot of it yet. She's still kind of getting used to it. The price is comparable and probably about the same as a lot of other places.

We did check out Keystone Place at LaValle Fields. The facilities were new. I was impressed with them. They were very nice. I felt that their rates are reasonable considering how new the place is. I got a tour of the memory care unit as well as the assisted living, and I think it would have been workable. They have church service like Catholic service and Protestant service, and they have games and activities. It seemed like everyday they have a full schedule of things you could do.

Keystone Place at LaValle Fields is very nice. My daughter-in-law’s parents are both there. They had checked out quite a few places before they put her parents there. We’re waiting for a 2-bedroom. It has everything that the other places have but the cost seems to run a little lower than some of them. I like that you can look out at fields; you don’t have to be right in traffic. They sent me an activity list, and I noticed there were quite a few things going on. They have a library, a movie theater, and a pub. We went to Thanksgiving dinner there, and I’ve been to the pub once; the food was not exceptional but very good. The people are very friendly there. That makes a difference, too.

We're in an independent living apartment in the Northeast here in Keystone Place, receiving assisted living services. It is just perfect. They have 2 dining rooms, and they are both beautiful. They have a pub which is just as nice, very spacious, and very pretty. We have 2 patios and 3 rooms; one is a large living room and the other a smaller room, but you can actually have parties, and we've done that several times. It's a very convenient place to be. The staff is good. They are very nice, very caring, and very compassionate. Compared to others that we've looked at, their price is very comparable. It is very convenient to a large city, which is St Paul, Minnesota, and that is where we have our healthcare physicians and doctors. We have a lot of activities every day. We do have an exercise room, an activities room, and a park. We've got a theater here in the building; actually it is a large TV screen and some wonderful chairs that you can fall asleep in while you are watching the TV. If you want to watch a movie, we have movie nights here.

My husband moved into Keystone Place last August, and it has been an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff is phenomenal, from the people I first spoke to -- the director, the people at the front desk, the people in the nurses’ office -- to the people in memory care. He is cleaner, and he is shaved every day. They have much better food choices, and they vary chef selections. I see a really good variation of menu. I just can’t say enough about the place.

We moved Dad into Keystone Place at LaValle Fields. We chose it because they specialize in dementia care. The staff is very cooperative, friendly, intelligent about his needs, and very professional. The apartments are very nice and clean. It’s perfect for my dad because it has never been lived in by anyone since the place is brand new, built last November. They have different types of activities, like crafts and games. They also have social meetings as well as entertainment.

My mom is in Keystone Place. They are very helpful and walked us through the whole insurance thing. Everybody has been very nice. The personnel stand out to me. They are very helpful, friendly, and caring. My mom is in a nice, private one-bedroom. It is a brand-new facility. I eat there, and the food is good. The common dining area is beautiful. I will recommend it for sure.

It was easy to get to Keystone Place at LaValle Fields. I was impressed. It was a multi-level place that's closer to my sister's and my place, which made a big difference to me. It was a very lovely-looking place, and I saw some of the people walking in the hallways. I got a very nice tour of the place. They showed me a studio room but when I told them the kind of care mom needed, they told me she had to be in memory care, so they showed me the memory care where the people stay and I was just kind of shocked because she would be isolated away from people. It was a nice place for people who would like to live in the apartments. It was a brand-new, very pretty place, but it was not appropriate for my mom. When we were in the memory care dining area, the residents were doing some activities. It looked like an excellent place for someone who does not need the kind of care my mom needed.

I visited Keystone Place at Lavalle Fields. This facility was very nice, convenient, and had everything you needed there. There was a walking area. There were plenty of very nice one- and two-bedroom rooms. They had an exercise room with equipment in it, a beauty salon and a dining room. The dining room was very nice and elegant, yet very friendly.

Keystone Place at LaValle Fields. We can not say enough about this facility. Yes it is very new, and yes it is a very impressive place as you wander through on a tour. The food service is fantastic along with the many activities provided. But what really sets it apart from other facilities, is the people inside who are responsible for the care and support of those who have chosen to make this their home. We moved our parents to this facility primarily because it enabled our parents to stay together. It is also close to our home so we are able to visit them often. It has been the third move for them and because of the extraordinary care for both of them and the consideration for each of us, it will be the last move. It is truly the team, who are always carefully chosen, that provide the care and support to the residents and their families. Making this new home safe and pleasant for all. This team from the director to the ladies cleaning, is nothing short of exemplary. For us it was about, will they be safe? will they receive the care and devotion to their well being above anything else? We now know that they will be safe and can see that the team truly provides devotion above and beyond for those who live here and their families. We invite you to take a tour, listen and watch as you walk through and make your own choice.

I moved my husband from another facility to Keystone Place Memory Care soon after it opened. I couldn’t be happier. The staff and administration are phenomenal – cheerful, respectful, caring, and supportive. The meals are delicious and residents are proud to have family members eat with them in the dining room. The memory care residents bake cookies often, do many crafts and games, and even go on field trips. As the spouse of a resident, I enjoy being there and I think that says a lot for the atmosphere. Keystone Place truly has gone beyond my expectations and is reasonably priced. I highly recommend this facility for all levels of care, as we are treated as one big family.

Keystone Place was a brand-new facility, so everything was very nice and plush. It had just opened up in November. The staff was very helpful; they even tried to give me more information and referrals to other places if this one didn’t fit. They gave me books and information about things that would help me. They made you feel at home and welcome. There was a gym and a barbershop and had all the same amenities as a hotel. It was very nice. The dining room was very nice, too.
