We visited Heron Manor. The facility was very nice. The apartments were a good size, and I really appreciated that they had a full kitchen that was wheelchair accessible. They looked like they had very good senior activities availability. If they were a licensed assisted living place, that would have been our first choice. I have zero negative things to say about it, except my father has a long-term care insurance plan and that can only go to places who are licensed for assisted living in Michigan. It had beautiful grounds. You can go out the doors and there's a walking path that goes by a pond in the woods. It is a LEED-certified building, so it's new.

Heron Woods (Heron Manor) is beautiful. The staff is extremely sweet and are nothing but kind to Mom. Mom sits in classes, which have been very good for her, and the people there are really nice. They have Church services during the week which Mom really likes.

Heron Manor was really nice. The people were really close knit. They had a lot of activities and a lot of talented and artistic people in the community itself sharing their talents, from art to quilting to crocheting to knitting. The apartments were a nice size. Everybody was very happy. The staff was wonderful. The attention that they gave to the residents stood out to me.

I liked the apartments at Heron Manor. They were as nice as could be. I also liked how it was set up because you can do your own laundry. I didn't like the heating system because there was no control on it. It was 100 degrees 24/7 summer and winter; it's horrible. I also did not like that they only serve breakfast and lunch and not dinner. The people seemed nice, and the place was clean.

I am in Heron Manor. I like the excellent service, and all of the people are so friendly. I do not participate in any outdoor activities at this time of the year, but I participate in indoor activities. We play cards a lot. They have concerts and that sort of thing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I really like Heron Manor. The facility is super nice. I like that they had regular apartments even the fact that it’s assisted living. You don't have to have just one room. It's really an apartment style and they were nice with lots of windows. The price was quite reasonable to. The place is very cheery and open. They staff were very nice. Just like any other facilities, they have different activities.
