I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom has mild dementia, diabetes, stage 5 kidney diseases. and high blood pressure problem, recently she had pubic ramous fracture and send to Medilodgy Farmington 248477-7373. Physical therapy personnel are very friendly, helpful and work with my mom very good. But other services are not as I expected: Day 2 . My mom’s call button was removed from her. At night she needed to poop. No one can help. Since she doesn’t use the cell phone and cannot reach me, she soaked in her poop over night until next morning I visited her through outside window. Day 3. I found that they give my mom a sandwich, a can of cook and sugar cookie. My mom cannot have cook and sugar due to diabetes and stage 5 kidney diseases. I tried to ask nurse do not give my soft drink and sugar cook. The nurse told me they have all her record and they know what to give. When I asked more information about my mom, such as how often diaper change, my mom sugar reading etc, multiple people told me that my mom is not only one patient if them they are so busy and not time to give me information. (if workers are too busy to take care the patient, they shall told their manager about it. Instate of complain to customers! That is not a reason to refuse patient/patient family treatment record) Day 4 . I visited my in the morning, she was so hungry so she ate laftove of day 2 ( leftover in her room over 2 nights). I stopped her and asked to wait. The TV was on overnight. They did not give my mom switch so she has no control.

I am a friend of a resident of Farmington Nursing Center. In general, I thought Farmington Nursing Center was an excellent choice for someone who is looking a placement for a friend or family member. Farmington Nursing Center is a nice place and it is pretty and in a really nice secluded neighborhood and it is a mid size facility. The grounds of the facility are pretty and very secluded in a country like setting surrounded by trees and in a rural wooded area and very well maintained and landscaped .The common area of the facility are country and secluded but there are houses spaced apart and the neighborhood is a very beautiful neighborhood and the neighborhood itself is also secluded. The residents' rooms are nicely coordinated with matching décor that all blend in well together. The colors are white, brown, orange, and yellow and a variety of other colors that all blend very well together and they also compliment the facility. The residents rooms doesn't smell and are very clean and neatly decorated. The residents get along very well together and seem to have a great time together and the food there looked good and the residents there conveyed to me that the food was good. The staff and management of the facility are professional and team, task oriented in their job duties and performance and treat their residents like family. I think the residents get excellent care there. While I was there, I noticed that a staff person was always seen for the convenience of their residents. I also noticed that the staff members and management interact often with their residents' and also keep track of their residents. It shows that they are concerned and have interest in the residents there. I would have to give Farmington Nursing Center a five star rating for their excellence and expertise. Overall, Farmington Nursing Center is an excellent placement for someone that is looking for a great placement for a friend or family member. I would recommend it to everyone and anyone over 50 because I know that they would like it there and I know that they would do well there because it is such a great placement.
