I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Staff seems uncaring and angry. Mom's meds seemed off, asked for a list to confirm; what we were given seemed to confirm no consistency, some days noted none given, other days 3, others 5. Her confusion was at times dramatic, which we thought stemmed from not being given her anxiety meds. Staff took diapers WE bought from her dresser, to use on others. Mom complained, they said "that's the way it works here!". Are they billing medicare for diapers, have no stock, so use the ones WE bought? Can't get an answer. Bathroom had no TP today. No one seems to be in charge, no one held accountable. Glad WE'RE not in there, looking for another rehab place with a bed. Interim administrator, and no apparent staff communication or oversight.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

I was required to put down a three week deposit when my father was admitted to their respite room/program via Hospice/VNA. I had to rush over to them to provide a check to cover three weeks even though Hospice was going to cover the first 5 days. I was assured they would pay me back the unused portion of my payment. My dad passed away within 5 days in early January. As of today March 4th they have not paid me back and they have ignored my calls for 6 weeks and have not called me back.

Linda Manor Extended Care Facility was incredible. It had an assisted living across the street, and they communicated well. I didn’t know what they did to my father, but they were great. He had a roommate, and he didn’t like that. He enjoyed the food there. It would be better if they had brought their patients outside more often especially during nice weather. The place was beautiful, and it looked like an incredible mansion. Dad's room was large and comfortable.

I am/was a resident of this facility

To push and push a call button on cold night and get no response, especially when you can hear the aides laughing and talking in the kitchen, is to know true despair. I was miserable and very lonely at this facility. Stay away!

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My dad was at Linda Manor for about a month, and I moved him out. It went OK, but it was not a good fit for dad. It was kind of lacking with things to do. Residents don’t have freedom to go outside, and there wasn't any grass on the patio. However, it’s a new place.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I was in this facility from Dec to Feb. The OT and PT staff did an excellent job. Just the right amount of pushing to get you to go beyond where you were comfortable. They were all cheerful and upbeat. The nursing staff were caring and kind. They explained what they were doing and wh.y. The nursing assistants were glad to help wash you up, make your bed and any other things you needed done. The nursing home does not have any odor and was kept very clean. The meals were tasty and more like home made than institutional. I would definitely go back to this facility if necessary. I was more than pleased.

I visited this facility

I visited Linda Manor in my role as a Compliance Safety and Health Officer for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.Linda Manor is situated in a semi-rural location with a sunny, welcoming entrance and appearance. The Linda Manor staff and administration were welcoming and accommodating during the whole visit. All areas of the facility were above-average in appearance and condition. Staff interviews conducted in private and away from management scrutiny were very positive.Casual observation of resident and staff interaction were seen as supportive and cooperative.Having conducted dozens of inspections in nursing homes, the overall atmosphere of a facility was associated with the physical condition and the engagement of residents in daily activities. Linda Manor was clean and very bright, even though the visit was during the winter. Residents who are generally happy and unafraid to engage a stranger (me) meant that residents were challenged daily and engaged socially. Linda Manor had great success with my observations.
