Our residents enjoy dressing up for parties on all holidays, St Patrick's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas etc. We also regularly have movie and game nights. We have an activities person who comes to work with residents a few times a week.

About Serene Homestead
Serene Homestead is a warm and cozy eight bed residential assisted living home located off New Hampshire Avenue in the prestigious Meadowood section of Silver Spring, Maryland. We have all-inclusive pricing, and our home is licensed by both the County and State and our mission is to ensure that you or your loved ones are cared for in a loving, secure homelike environment. We offer spacious, tastefully decorated rooms and inviting public areas, where residents can truly feel at home. Our commitment to our residents is to brighten their lives by providing them with the highest quality care and service, and empowering them to function as independently as possible.
We encourage our residents to get involved in all in-house activities and community events. Activities are designed to be fun as well as therapeutic, and residents get a chance to socialize with each other in a nurturing environment. Typical group activities include: Bingo, arts and crafts, dance and movement, puzzles, word games, table games and cards, birthday celebrations, going to the movies, music, and visits to local places of interest. Interested residents are encouraged to become or remain tech savvy and practice their skills on computers designated for resident use only.
