Brookdale Alexandria was a very nice place. I only met with one staff and she was good. The room was small, but I'm sure it's normal for what it is. I just don't see it working for my parents. Upkeep and maintenance were good.

My husband is staying at Brookdale Alexandria. We chose this community because it was very nice, very clean, the people were very helpful when I went to go visit it for the first time, and it was cheaper than the nursing home. The staff is very caring and has a lot of empathy for these memory care patients. My husband told me he likes the food. The activities they have include arts and crafts and others. It is nice, clean, and decorated pretty.

My mother chose to stay at Brookdale Alexandria. She feels very comfortable and safe there. Their prior director did not relate well to people, so they're about to get a new director. My mother said the food has really improved, and the nurses and aides are good, too. They have an activities director, but they have been shut down since April. Consequently, they haven't had any COVID there. They just finished giving them their second shots, so they're very careful, and there are not that many activities. Every once in a while, they get a sheet with some activities in their rooms, and they give them magic markers to use or things like that. Brookdale's cost goes up every year. My mother went there in 2016 when I became ill and couldn't take care of her at home, and I think she has been there the longest.

My brother is in Brookdale Alexandria. I haven't had a chance to go in there because of the pandemic, but I'm familiar with the place. I had a cousin in there. They give updates if we ask for them. My brother has a one-bedroom apartment, and there's no full kitchen. Due to the pandemic, there's not a lot going on, not even meals. They're not bringing outside people in there, which is good. They had a cafeteria, and it was nice. He hasn't complained.

My mother receives excellent care at the Brookdale in Alexandria, Louisiana. The nurses and staff are very attentive and caring. She is very happy with her the care she has received. She has met many new friends at Brookdale and has other friends who come visit her as well. She has recommended to others that they may want to join the Brookdale family when the need arises.

I am so grateful to Brookdale for the excellent care and beautiful facility for my mom. The memory Care unit is the perfect fit to help mom deal with dementia. The calm environment and caring staff has brought out the best in this difficult situation. It is such a peace of mind to know she is in the best place for her.

The experience at Brookdale has been awesome and really good. It’s expensive, but she chose the facility because it’s closer to her sisters. It’s not going to be wise, but that’s where my mother wanted to go. The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly; they helped me with the whole process. Everything has been really good.

My relative is in Brookdale Alexandria. They make a special accommodation for her because she is an evacuee from the flood in South Louisiana, and we were able to place her in a room within a week. They offer exercise, craft, puzzles, readings, and church. They also have a van that will transport them to events and to her doctors' appointments. They serve three meals a day. The staff keeps us abreast of the things that she may need and offer to assist us in getting home health if she needs that. They are very good. They provide laundry services, but she can also use the dry cleaners that pick up and deliver.

My wife, Dona, and I had a very good visit at Brookdale. We were ery pleased with the facility. In the past, I have had experiences with nursing homes with other relatives that were not good. On-the-other-hand, Brookdale left me feeling that my mother-in-law would be well cared for in a pleasant environment. Discussions with health care providers in our community further boosted my belief that Brookdale would be a good place for my mother-in-law to live.

The Emeritus staff was very nice, and the rooms were very nice and clean. It seemed like all the residents were happy, and they have a whole list of activities like bingo. I really like the marketing person that took me on the tour. She was very nice about the way she handled one of the occupants.

I took a tour to the one facility on Alexandria named Emeritus. I actually went on the website, and a gentleman called me to set up a tour. The staff was very helpful, and it really seemed like a wonderful place. The rooms were very nice, and it had a good size. The bathroom is very nice because they had a lot of space. I wasn't able to eat there, but I was able to visit the dining room, and it was very nice also. The long term employees impressed me the most. Normally, you would see a lot of turnover, but the employees have been there for such a long time. As for security, I think it is safe enough.

I like everything about Emeritus at Alexandria. It's the nicest one in the area, but the most expensive one too. The staff were friendly and informative. They answered everything that I needed answered. They have restaurant-style for the meals. They were doing activities, although I am not able to remember them offhand. I know they have a full calendar of activities. They also have a shuttle that takes people if they want to go shopping or go to places.

Emeritus is lovely, but it still wasn't home. I met a couple of members of the staff during our walkthrough. They were very helpful, and they gave me a lot of information. They gave me an activity calendar, and I saw some activities going on in the group rooms. They gave me a tour of a couple of different rooms, and they were very neat, organized, and clean.

It was a very nice facility and it was more for the upper class. They did it right. It just was not a good fit for me. It was just a little upscale for what we were looking for. I did not see very many residents there, most of them were in their rooms. It could have been the time of day I went there but the ones I had interaction with liked it there. The staff were friendly and professional. I like their apartments. It was spacious and very well decorated,. You have to provide your own furniture though.

Emeritus turned out to be on the spendy side and the place isnÕt large enough for the two of us. It was a lovely place for a single person to move in but the we wanted a little more square footage and the price for what they have was a little out of reason.

The staff at Emeritus were very nice and polite. The food was also very delicious and tasty. However, it had a very institutional atmosphere. I was just not impressed by the place.

The Emeritus is the best in our area. They have big rooms and the people are very nice. We have a friend that is there now and she speaks very highly of the food.

I love this facility. It offers some of the best care in the county. I really feel welcomed in like a member of the community when I go to visit my father. I am able to attend his daily tasks and routines and see how much he enjoys living here. I could not have picked a better facility to put my father in. He is very happy where he lives, and after visiting I know he is well taken care of. He has even met a lady friend. My dad is genuinely happy at Kingsley place and I think that I made a great choice choosing to put him in that assisted living facility.
