I had an in-person tour of Bloom At Eagle Creek. It was a very good visit. We talked a lot, and she gave me a tour of the unit. But the bottom line was that they were not able to accommodate what my mother would need in their facility. The staff gave me a lot of information, which was very helpful to me, but they couldn't accommodate her. The apartments were nice. I'm not sure if they go into the units and clean their resident's apartments in assisted living, whether they clean it or they let them clean it on their own. Some of them were pretty much congested in their kitchen area, just a whole bunch of stuff all over the place. So that was kind of concerning to me. The staff showed me an outdoor deck where they could go out and sit on the porch, and that was nice. The facility itself in the open seemed to be very neat and clean. The staff showed me three rooms that were occupied with residents, and it didn't look like anybody was cleaning up. That's why I gave it a three because I thought it could have been a lot cleaner.

We toured Bloom At Eagle Creek. I loved them, but it has a carpet, and my mother doesn't like it. It's all good, the staff member who assisted us was excellent, she was wonderful, and she did everything to accommodate us. They have less activities than the other place we visited though.

I wanted to like Bloom at Eagle Creek but it was lacking. The rooms were small, although they have a nice dining romm. The staff was friendly and they certainly knew the residents. But it just has a feeling which made my grandmother feel like Oh no, this is where Im going to come and basically sit and die. When we walked in we saw people basically just sitting there, looking not only like theyre bored but like they have nothing else to do. I like it, except for the small rooms and they have like stale snacks; they have a lot of snacks actually. They possibly have a library, and among the ones I toured they have the least amenities. And their facilities were out of order-ish, like they were just not up-to-par. But the place didnt have a smell, so thats good. The residents didnt look like they were depressed or unhappy, but they were just there and the staff was kind of just there, everybody was nice though. They didnt have much in the way of anything like a pool there. They offered us some snacks, and they were kind of stale but they had a lot of them. The staff knew the residents and the residents knew them and trusted them.

Bloom At Eagle Creek was very nice and relatively small. It's in a nice location since it's very wooded. It's near a couple of major roads, but it’s off of a side street, and it's very quiet. They have some outdoor seating areas and bird feeders. The facility itself is quite nice, and although it’s not as new, it's very well-maintained. The staff knows all the residents' names, so it definitely has a small community feel to it.

Bloom at Eagle Creek was OK, but I didn’t like it. The staff seemed to be OK and nice, but it didn’t measure up to the other places I’ve been. The food seemed to be not as good. Maybe it was a bad day or maybe it just was a bad smell or something.

We’re moving in tomorrow at Bloom at Eagle Creek. The facility is very neat and clean. People seem very friendly and outgoing. Their menu has quite a variety to choose from. As far as I know, security is appropriate. The price is very good.
