I visited this facility

We viewed the memory care facility at GreenTree at Mt. Vernon. It was very nice. The people who were there appeared to be attentive to the residents. The visit was just good all the way around. They walked us through and showed us a possible room. It was a good facility and very well kept.

Provider Response

Thank you Lucinda for sharing your experience. It's reassuring to know that the team was attentive and that the community is well-kept. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom has been at GreenTree at Mt. Vernon for about 5 years now. I like the staff because they seem to care. The whole facility looks nice. Mom could go outside in a secured area with chairs, a walkway, and trees. I like the surroundings of this place. They keep the place clean, and it has a homey feel to it. The food looks OK. They have someone come in to do mom's hair. They have a community room with comfortable chairs for the residents to watch TV. They also have activities like bingo and other stuff.

Provider Response

Thank you so much for your kind words. We do strive to provide a homelike atmosphere for our residents after all it is their home.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

The rooms at GreenTree at Mt. Vernon are adequate. They were supposed to remodel/paint it, but they didn't do that. They're supposed to assist with making sure my wife takes her medication on time, but they missed it the first week she was there. The place is adequate, but it isn't anything more than average. They've got an exercise area and they're scheduled for physical and speech rehab. The staff is accommodating, but I expect them to be for what I'm paying a month in rent. It's a very nice looking place on the outside and very nice on the inside, but when she first moved in, the toilet won't even flush.
