Overture Yorktown 55+ Apartment Homes would not have worked out for my dad because the garage was on the level, but it wasn't totally enclosed. It was just a roof, but the sides were open. We saw probably two or three apartments, but they were a lot smaller in square footage, and there was not enough storage. They did have a penthouse rooftop that was very, very nice, and that's where all their activities were. There was a meeting room and you could have coffee all day from either the front desk or from that rooftop. They had a workout facility, a pool, and there were a lot of onsite amenities. They had lots of activities. There was an activities director. They had a Christmas tree that was up, and they decorated it with all the holidays. So they had all hearts in it because we were there around Valentine's Day. The staff member who gave me the tour was very interesting because she lived there, so she had a different perspective. She was good and you could tell she really loved the place.

We're moving into Overture Yorktown. It was very nice, well built, and very pleasant. The director was very nice and very helpful. They had cooking classes and stuff like that, but there were no meals provided. The rooms were very spacious, very handicap accessible, and it's a large space for what we need.

The staff, especially the managers, have been so helpful in welcoming my friend to Windsor Park. They went way beyond requirements to help her get settled. Our communication with management was great. Management and in fact everyone we came in contact with made sure all of our needs were met. Shelly, Kathy and Allison were there to get my friend settled. They were so helpful and I appreciated them so much. They checked in frequently to assure us that her needs were being met. I am truly thankful and amazed at the care provided to new residents. They truly extended a welcoming hand.

I moved into Overture Yorktown last October. It's awesome, and I really love it. There are a lot of activities. The staff is wonderful. The environment, the social aspect, and the people are great. The staff is absolutely awesome and very knowledgeable. They respond quickly, and they're very personable and approachable. The environment is very nice and clean. Everything is perfect. It's clean, sanitary, they take very cautious precautions, they send notices if anything's happening that the tenants need to know about, and they send messages through email and texts. The maintenance team is really great, and they respond effectively. Before moving here, I priced a few others, and for the quality, the environment, the atmosphere, and the community, I think it's worth it.

I chose Overture Yorktown 55+ Apartment Homes because the price was right. Everything was quite nice. It has a swimming pool on the roof, and it is only seven stories high. The building is only one year old. The price was decent because I had been looking for a couple of months and then I could not afford them. This is a two-bedroom, and it includes utilities and things like that, and it's only $2,150.

Overture Yorktown was very nice, very elegant, and lovely. We're pushing 80 and I saw older people there, but the environment was more for younger people. They had a social hour. The walls had a dark look. It just didn't fit us. It was more for the over 55 people. The apartments were very nice, but they weren't very big, and they're very expensive. The staff was very nice, very bubbly, very personable, and seemed to be on top of everything. It's right in the middle of a shopping center and they had very little outdoor space, but everything looked very well taken care of and it looked cozy.
