We chose Lexington Square of Lombard for the location because it's closer to most of us compared to some of the others that I looked at, and they are all very caring people. I like their tenure. Most of the staff has been there for quite some time and that was important to me because my cousin is in memory care, and I wanted to make sure that the staff knew how to deal with memory care. Safety is pretty good. I have to have a passkey to go in and to get out. They don't let just anybody in. The residents aren't able to get on the elevator on their own. I like the fact that the residents all wear a little beeper to page a nurse if need be. She has indicated that the food was very good. I like the variety. She is diabetic, and they are paying attention to that, so I thought that was great. There are things that she doesn't like, but I didn't see anybody complaining. They seem to be keeping her quite busy. They have her up and dressed every day. She's always doing something. The facility is very pleasant, very homey, and very clean. Everybody just seems very comfortable there.

I liked Lexington Square of Lombard. It's a multilevel facility. They had five floors, so it was a little different. Some of the other ones had one or two floors, but this one was a little bit bigger. They had a really big atrium in the middle and it was very bright and well-lit. The people kind of hang out around that area on the different floors, so I liked that about it. The dining room was very nice. It was probably one of the nicest dining rooms I saw in terms of how it looked. Their menu looked really good. They had a lot of activities. It was very clean and looked very nice. They had kind of high-end finishes on the different rooms, the hallways, and the multipurpose area. They have studios, one- and two-bedrooms. The staff was very good, very knowledgeable, and very nice. He took a lot of time to show me around. We weren't rushed at all. They have a beauty salon. They have more than one library.

I visited Lexington Square of Lombard, and the rooms were extremely spacious. I didn't meet that many people, but the one person that I talked to was very thorough and very accommodating. That was one that I would have considered, but it was a little bit too far. It was very clean and very nice. The rooms were big, so for the monetary value, it was very good. There were no odors. Things looked very well cared for. I didn't notice any safety hazards, like tears in the carpeting or anything like that. The hallways could be a little bit long for somebody, but I would have considered it if it were closer. The tour was very well done and very professional.

Had the opportunity to visit this Community for my Dad. We loved the size and the affordability of the apartments. The staff is so friendly and welcoming! My Dad really enjoyed his meal. This is a must see!

Our tour at Lexington Square of Lombard was nice. The gentleman actually contacted me, and he was very helpful. We met and talked about my mom. Then he took me on a tour of the entire place, specifically the assisted living floor. We saw the dining room and the amenities. We toured the whole place, and it was very nice. The facility was very nice, very fancy, very clean, and very welcoming. All the employees were very nice, I really like the place. It is very nice. The location was good because it was close to my house, so that's one of the reasons I chose to go view the place. He took me to a couple of different rooms: a 1-bedroom and a studio. They were very nice rooms. They had extra curricular activities for them and a beauty shop. There was a special room that you can rent if you wanted to have a party and have your family. They have bus trips and various other things for them to keep them busy.

Everyone at Lexington Square of Lombard was very nice and helpful. It was very clean, which I liked. I think they were taking great precautions for Covid. It seems like they had a lot of great amenities for the residents. We got a tour of a communal area where they could sit and watch movies. We got a tour of the hair salon as well as other common spaces like a cafe. I thought it was a nice space for the folks that live there. We looked at a studio and a one-bedroom and they seemed very nice and well kept. Nothing is worn out or outdated, so that was nice to see. It's just at this point, the financial cost of it is kind of what's stopping us. I didn't see any activity. We went at 6:00 at night, so it was a little bit later, but I've heard they do movie nights and different games. At some point, they did outings and events. I don't know how that is being affected with Covid, but I know they had things like that. The dining area was very nice, very spacious, and very clean. No one was in there because maybe we were even there later than 6. Dinner was already over at that point and I don't know how many people are allowed in there with Covid and all of that, but it seemed very clean. It almost looked like a restaurant, which was kind of nice.
