We went to tour Norwood Crossing. It was a beautiful facility in a beautiful neighborhood, but the information that we were given was a lot. It was a little overwhelming. The room in the memory care was very plain. It was like a small hospital room, but everyone there seemed very well cared for, and it smelled good there. They had a nice dining room and they had activities. For me, it was just a little too big, and it did not have that homey feel that I was looking for. I did not like that it seemed like a very large facility. The staff who gave me the tour was excellent. She was very kind and very knowledgeable. She seemed to know all of the people. She was talking to everyone. The whole facility appeared to be well-kept.

Anna from Norwood Crossing was very, very informative. She covered everything and did better at her job. She knew her stuff well and she also had a lot of empathy. They showed us the bathing rooms, and I thought that was nice. The place looked older though, but it was very, very nice.

My mother was at Norwood Crossing. She went in sort of in the lowest level of care, she was living pretty independently, and they did medication checks, and then as time went on she became very ill and she unfortunately was admitted into their hospice program and passed away. Nevertheless, I cannot say enough good things about them, they were just unbelievably fabulous through every phase of my mother's time there. They're really loving, fabulous people, and I would not hesitate to recommend people look at that facility. Everybody from the cleaning people to the medical staff, the physical therapists, they were fantastic, and I'm in heathcare, so I'm a hard sell, so they were really good. My mother always had issues with the food, so she did not like the food there, and sadly she complained about it. Early on my mother had her own little apartment, which was really nice because she got to have her own furniture and even her cat. They also had a wing of nursing beds that she stayed in when she was in hospice, and that was fine. They had a whole range of activities both inside as well as outside, and they had transportation, too. For the price point it was also great.

Very disappointed with the quality of care and lack of communication. Many messages have been left for the Director of Nursing and they are rot retuned. The Administrator is rude and has raised his tone abruptly several times during conversations. He has no people skills and is highly unprofessional. This is a problem with the current state of restrictions and it needs to be addressed.

Norwood Crossing was very nice. I liked their program. It wasn't as large as I would like it to be, but everything seemed pretty good. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, went over everything with us, and showed us the whole place. It's a good experience. The dining area was nice, clean, and well-lit enough.

I didn't feel as comfortable with Norwood Crossing. It was very big, and lots of people were just walking around. You had to go up the elevator to get to one place and down here to get to somewhere else. The entrance to Norwood Crossing was just very big and awkward for me. I didn't really care for it. People there were also nice, and they showed me around. The skilled area, I wasn't that thrilled with. It was very dark and old.
