My mother-in-law moved into Somerby of Santa Rosa Beach. I love the place. I like the beauty of the interior. It's immaculately decorated, cheerful, and very clean. She's in a one-bedroom apartment. They have apartments and memory care upstairs. If she advances to memory care, she can just move upstairs. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They have the food delivered to her room while she acclimates. She uses a walker or wheelchair, and they also wheel her into the dining room. The dining room is treated like a restaurant. They take them to a chosen restaurant via a bus. In the evenings, they have live entertainment, karaoke, and a wine bar. They serve them all wine. I could not believe that. I saw like eight or ten different bottles of wine. She has fallen many times in the past, and they called when she fell one time there. They wear a monitoring system necklace, and if anyone falls, it knows, being standing upright to hitting the floor, and they answer the call within four minutes. They have kitchenettes, a double sink, a large stainless steel refrigerator, and large windows where a lot of sunshine comes in the room. I knew if I went anywhere else, I couldn't find anything better. It was the only one I went to, and I was really impressed. I voiced my concerns about her calling us all the time, because we live about five miles away, and they said they plan on keeping her so busy that she wouldn't have time to call us. I talked to a lot of the residents, and they're all happy, too.

We are very happy with Somerby. We toured a lot of facilities before choosing Somerby. When we visited it we knew it was the place for dad. The building and grounds are super nice and its very well maintained. We love the Sales Manager, Robyn H. Robyn is also an RN and she is very caring and respectful towards the residents. The workers are caring, the facility is clean and very well managed. I saw on the Caring review that it was $$$ but we don't find it more expensive than several of the other ones that were run down. I visit weekly and I like what I see.

We're very happy with Somerby of Santa Rosa Beach. The entire staff is very caring, whether it's the dining room staff, the CNAs, or the housekeeping. Everyone is very loving. If I wasn't happy, my in-laws wouldn't be there. The food is really good and there are lots of choices. There are a lot of activities provided. They're expensive, but then everything is.

Somerby of Santa Rosa Beach was fairly new, had a nice outdoor area, but the apartments didn't have any porches or balconies. They have a memory care facility as well. It was nice, clean, very bright, cheery, had a nice outdoor area in the back like a little lake with a fountain in it and umbrellas and chairs which were nice to sit at. It was just a nice facility. They showed me one of the little apartments, which were nice, but I don't think my parents can live there because they were too small. It had a kitchenette. They do a lot of activities. A lady from my church just recently moved there and I saw her and she was very pleased with living there. The staff was very nice.

I visited Somerby of Santa Rosa Beach in February for my parentS. It was really nice, new, clean and very well taken care of. We liked the one-bedroom versus the two-bedroom because it was homier. My mom liked the one-bedroom because she liked the layout better, and it had a living room. The two-bedroom only had two rooms and no living room, so my mom didn’t like the layout. The people there were very nice, professional, courteous, and friendly.

At Somerby, the staff was very friendly. However, it was very expensive. The facility was nice and clean. It looked like a better place to us.

Somerby is a brand new place, it is beautiful, there is a lake in the back, and the views are nice. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, and they answered any questions that we had. Mom is going to have her own apartment where she can bring her own things. There is lots of storage space and closets, and everything was in place. It just was beautiful. We got in early enough that she was able to pick out her apartment before they opened.
