My mom is in Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens. No exaggeration, it's like living in a hotel. The food is all pretty good. The selection is at least 4 to 5 different entrees. It's clean inside. It is a 6-story building, and there's a cathedral-type atrium in the foyer area. They have entertainment, Bible classes, and Jewish-type classes. It's all included in the pricing. The staff is pretty good. They're attentive. They're there for you. The concierge is there 24/7, so they're available. My mom feels extremely safe living there. They have all types of entertainment. They have movie theaters. They have bingo and games, they play poker cards, and there are walking teams. They have everything and anything that anybody would want to get involved in. And the staff tries to encourage people to get involved in the activities because it's healthy for them.

Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens was nice. I liked the place. They just don't have the skilled nursing facility there. It was new and it was clean. The person that gave the tour was thorough, and a nice guy.

My husband moved to Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens. We chose it because it's nearby and the price was reasonable. I liked the cleanliness of the place. He is in the memory care. They have entertainment once a week and bingo. The food looks appetizing and he hasn't complained, so that's a good thing. The staff is very nice and professional. His room is great. In the section he is in, there's not really many amenities, but they have a lovely outdoor garden sitting area. Then they have an area where they have televisions and they decorated it nicely for Christmas.

Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens was a very nice facility. I don't have anything bad to say about the facility or the care. I think the price was reasonable, but we were looking for a newer facility. The room was nice. It was a two-bedroom that they showed us. They had a lot of amenities. They had a pool, extra rooms, and a library. It was nice, it was just an older facility. The staff we met was nice. The price is reasonable for an older facility.

Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens was very friendly. The residents seemed active, engaged and visible. They were out and about, which we liked. They had a nice pool and facilities. The only comment we had that was negative was that if you were an assisted living person, you could not eat in the independent living dining room. You had to eat down the hall in a different dining room. The apartments were weirdly shaped. I don't know how else to say it, because I think it was in the original building design, but a lot of the apartments had pointy rooms. They were like Pentagon-shaped rooms and it was a little disorienting. If it's what you're looking for, it could be a very nice place. The sales agent was very nice. Everything looked great.

We had a very, very good tour of Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens. I liked the staff, the people, the residents, the facilities, and the activities. I liked their rooms. We looked at a 1-bedroom type of arrangement, and everything was really clean and updated. They were doing construction and updating lots of different things that we could see. Many of them were doing resident activities together, like playing cards, playing dominoes, or just sitting and talking. We watched the lunch hour for the independent residents, and we also walked through the assisted living dining room. We talked to residents there, and they were enjoying their meals, so that was good. They have an extensive outreach and entertainment schedule published, which had everything from movies, to bingo, and lots of other things. The atmosphere felt safe. Everybody seemed content. It felt positive, and the place was clean. It looked like the residents were being taken care of. They were coming and going all over the place, which was good.

My mother-in-law has been at Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens for over 2 years now. The whole place is very clean and they always do all the maintenance at this place. The staff and everybody, they all know you and they all come and say hi. They do her laundry for her and bring it back. They put her in a wheelchair and take her down to get breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and bring her back to her room. She's always eating everything that they've ever put in front of her. It's good food and it's three meals a day. They do go out on bus trips to see different places. Sometimes, they take them to an ice cream shop. Other times, they'll go to a park or the beach. For those that can, they provide a bus that takes them to the grocery store so they can shop. They do have church services right there in the building. Somebody will come in to play some music for them. They play bingo and board games. They have a swimming pool, a salon, and laundry facilities.

I toured Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens. I actually know a friend there. It's also very near my doctors and my activities, so it's a good fit. It was much less expensive than the others, too. I haven't lived there yet, but so far they've been very, very nice. I talked to Linda (she's probably in charge of new people as a recruiting thing), and she was very, very helpful. There was a library and a gym. There's a dining room of course. I read the menu, and it looked good. There's a mail room, too. My room is on the first floor, which is nice. It's kind of unusual to have it on the first floor, so I was happy about that. The room is smaller than my house, but that's OK, and that's to be expected. It's big enough; I just have to organize myself as to what I could take, that's all. I noticed something that was very interesting to me. Outside their doors, they have a little table, and on that table they have something that represents them. For example, there's a couple who have been together for many years, and they have a little pillow that said, "Together for 50 years," and they have little flowers and other things there, too. Each person has something representing them out on that little table. It's quite interesting. And some people do it seasonally. They'll do a holiday thing, like somebody had a little Easter bunny out there. There are different things that people choose to do. Some change it all the time, and some keep it the same. It's very nice to be personalized like that. It was just a pleasant atmosphere. It didn't seem depressing. Everyone was very nice. I met different staffers, and they're all nice, and the ladies at the front desk, too, are very pleasant.

We toured Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens. We came in the front door and we both needed to use the restroom. And the first thing we noticed when we turned left at the front door was that the area around the restrooms needed some attention. The lady that took us around was just fine. They had everything that met our needs. We would have rated that as the fourth of the ones we saw. It certainly needs some TLC. They had activities going on, and that was plain to see. The staff was nice.

We've just moved to Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens. They feed you in the morning, they feed you at night, and they provide activities. Our room is a two-bedroom, two-bath with a balcony. It's a good size. All appliances are already here like the microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The staff is so-so, they're mediocre, and some are more pleasant than others. They have activities like bingo and other things periodically. The activities are average. They have a pool, a pool deck, and a jacuzzi.

Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens was a nice and pleasant facility. The bigger units were a little awkward though. They showed us a three-bedroom and it was all angles. They had a kitchen and it was like a really narrow, small galley kitchen. They had a refrigerator that wasn't huge, and then they had a stove. It was an older stove, though it didn't have the coil. It wasn't updated like the other place. The staff who took us around was great. He was very enthusiastic, very pleasant, and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all our questions.

When we were at Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens, which is the facility my mom was in for two years, it was great before COVID. However, once COVID hit, it just pretty much shut down. They're bringing a lot of people that were more assisted than independent, and so the independent people shrunk, and my mom had very little to socialize with and a lot of them left. It's nice for families to feel comfortable that their loved ones are possibly being watched. They had to pull a button every day to say that they were up and kicking. My mom was more independent than she was assisted, but they do have those services. They supply food seven days a week, three meals a day, and that was a good plus. It's a little rundown on the building. There were different issues within the unit because they were older. Before COVID, they had a lot of activities. During COVID, they removed all the chairs on the pool deck, so how are you supposed to sit out and enjoy yourself when there's nothing there? The other thing with Brookdale is that it's corporate. However, the staff were very nice. They were always great, and the location is great.

We looked at the independent living at Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens. We had not even considered independent living until we sat down with the manager and then realized that independent care was really what my mother-in-law would be able to do and not need to go into assisted living. That was something that she could move into at some point in time. If we were gonna move her, that would be the one we would go to for our purposes, for our location and such. The staff was excellent. The people that we worked with were extremely informative and professional, and really felt like they were concerned about not only her as a future resident, but also for us, providing us with all the details, and what we needed to know as far as accommodations, opportunities for her to be more socially active, and also pricing. When you walked in, it looked like a cruise ship lobby. It's like an apartment building. I think it had five stories and it was very well-maintained. They have an Olympic-sized swimming pool where they were doing water aerobics classes. Many of the apartments face the pool and the outside. It was all landscaped. It looked like a country club.

Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens is clean and cheery as can be. The people here are very nice, friendly, and helpful. They have a swimming pool, they play bingo, and do other stuff. I like the fact that the doctor comes to the room. So, health care here is good and everyone is great. Food could be a little better, though.

My mother moved into Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens. The first thing that sent me there was that she had a friend there already. So that was the piece of it that she knew someone when she got there. And it was just close to all her friends, and her church, and it offered everything that we needed for her. There have been a few glitches, but nothing serious. The staff is very caring. We had lunch there, and it was good. They have bingo. They have fitness classes. They have card games and games they offer, entertainment. It's pretty varied. Everything's included. They have a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher.

Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens was a very nice facility. It had a large atrium feeling when you walk in. It's clean and there are a lot of activities going on with the residents. They have larger units. I was looking at the independent living for my parents and they have two- and three-bedroom units. The staff has been extremely friendly and has shown us the units a couple of times and given different family members tours. They have worked with us to get my parents in there. So far, we're very happy. The amenities are wonderful. They have a library, social room, onsite salon services, a physical therapy room, a pool, a dining room, and a separate big social area for happy hour and lunches. They don't have garages, but they have covered parking spaces. There's an in-house convenience store where you can have prescriptions sent there to have filled. They have a room set up for movies. There are walking trails and a trail to a little lake with a fountain. It's a large property that sits back in the woods. You don't feel like you're right in the midst of town. It was the most convenient location-wise for us, so we were happy with it.

I love the Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens. It's close to home. The place is very attractive when you walk in, and the people are so, so nice. Gwent, who is the sales manager, has just been so nice to me. I have a walking problem, so I walk with a walker and get around very slowly. When I came to visit him, he offered me a wheelchair. I took it when he showed me the apartment. I've met two of my would-be neighbors already. The rules and regulations, I don't think are too strict. I can't wait to move in. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm bringing some things over today so I can start. Things that are a part of what I'm paying for are breakfast and dinner. There's parking. I'm using uncovered parking, and I don't have to pay more for it. There's a post office, a hair salon, a gym, and a library. There is something like a delicatessen too. There's storage, so if you rent a room you can buy that. Somebody comes and cleans your apartment. If you want to pay for it, you can have your laundry done.

Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens was very nice. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Everything seemed nice there. The facility looked like a nice place for a person with memory issues. The staff was very caring. That's what I saw from my perspective. It was very clean. I didn't see any garbage or anything like that. I liked the fact that it looked like a clean environment and the staff was friendly. I didn't get to see much because of COVID.

We toured all the levels of care at Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens, from independent, assisted, to memory care. Our tour was fine, but it wasn't what my uncle and aunt would want. We saw some of the apartments there, the ones that were updated were nice but those that were not updated were not nice. They have activities like water aerobics, bingo, and card games for the residents. The staff was very pleasant. But I just think that the building itself is an older building, and I think it should be upgraded a little.

Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens is very nice and I'm trying to get in there myself. My two aunts live there and I have nothing but good things to say about it, from their food to the place. The rooms are beautiful. They have a 2-bedroom apartment with a terrace and it’s adorable. I had dinner there with my aunts and the food was very good. They have a beautiful big library. The place is well kept and clean. The staff is very nice. The activities are very nice. They have dancing, entertainment, and they have both Jewish and religious gatherings. They cover everything.

My mother moved here when she started to feel lonely in her condo community, as she was in her mid-90’s and had lost most of her friends. Her 1/1.5 apartment is just big enough, and comfortably located near the elevators. The facility is not new, but it is a warmly comfortable environment. The staff are the best, food is better than she expected, activity schedule is full and diversified. After three years, she could still be interviewed to do a commercial - she is that enthusiastic.

My mom was a resident of Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens for many years and our experience was great. The people were very nice, but the price was expensive. When she first moved there, it was called Prosperity Oaks, and then Brookdale took over and we started to see changes. We've always had the same help on the floor, the same women, same nurses, med-techs, and then that all went apart. They switched everyone around, so the girls don't know where they're working. They don't like that either, because they liked to know the people or their patients. Other than that, it seemed like it wasn't the same place. My mom started at $3,300 to $3,400 a month, so I guess you could say that it went up about a hundred bucks a month per year. They had great activities, so when my mom first went there she was very active. They had a beautiful pool, water aerobics and all kinds of stuff going on. There's a lot of dancing, night-time stuff, and so on. They're busy there 24/7. When my mom was in independent, she had a one-bedroom apartment with a living room and a kitchen, and a porch. Then when she went to assisted, it was just a studio with a bathroom.

I liked Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens the most. There were people waiting for a bus to take them somewhere, and everybody was dressed in red, white, and blue for the holiday. They had someone there playing the piano. When you walk in to the place, it almost looks like you're walking into a really nice exclusive hotel or even a cruise line the way because of the way it was laid out. It was very open, so I really liked that. The people were playing cards and they had movies playing in one place. They were laughing and everybody seemed to know each other. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have lots of things for her to do. She spends more time out of her apartment than she spends in her apartment. They have all kinds of activities for her to choose from, everything from going to the library to watching movies, to activities that they coordinate.

My husband has been at this place for a month now. In this time I have been met everyday with comments from staff about how much work my husband is, He is in a wheelchair and needs help with bathing, dressing getting up and out of bed or chair. My husband is a giloblastoma brain cancer patient who now has radiation damage that has compromised his cognitive thinking, He now has dementia/alzheimers behavior and at times can be uncooperative. He is also a fall risk. Last week he fell and cracked a couple ribs. He was sent back to Brookdale with a prescription for pain. 4 days later he still had not received his pain medication. When the staff tried to make him get up for the day he became angry as they were hurting him. He requested to be left alone but staff continued to make him get up and he kicked out at them. Now the staff doesn't want to help him at all, The memory care staff are now rude to me and my children when we visit. I am so worried for my husband and are now trying to find a loving and caring place for him. This is what I get for $7,000.00 a month!

Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens looked very clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. The staff was friendly. The grounds were nice, and they had a gardening club. Some of the other activities included music events and movies. The problem was, they didn't have enough transportation for the residents to be able to go across the street to the mall or restaurant. You can go only at 10 in the morning once a day and there was no other schedule.

When we visited Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens, it was just starting its renovation. It took them a good year to finally get it totally renovated, and they did contact me numerous times to come in, have lunch again, sit and talk, and see that the place had been renovated. I never got back in to do that. I saw their plans for the renovation; they were really nice. It seemed that it was going to look good, but I never really get back there. I had lunch there, and the food was fine.

Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens was gorgeous and done very nicely. We saw the 2-bedroom apartment -- and it was beautiful -- but the price was ridiculous. The staff was very nice and very cordial. The dining room was like a restaurant -- beautifully done, tables were set very nicely, and you can sit wherever you want to. The location of the place was perfect, and it was within the vicinity of shopping malls. It will also provide a service should we need to go to our doctors, go shopping, or go to restaurants. The manager was very nice and very cordial to us. The library was huge and astronomical. They had a meeting room, a movie room, and a pool.

We toured a couple of places and we decided on Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens for my friend. It was close to where we live and less expensive than most of them. The rooms were not just a room, but it has a living room, as well as a patio. They also have a full bath with a shower and a big walk-in closet. The place also has a swimming pool and garden club that my friend is interested in. They provide a cleaning service once a week. They also provide full breakfast in a restaurant style facility and a full dinner as well. They have snacks at lunch time. They will also take them on a 10-mile radius in a limousine and they also take them to other places in a bus like Wal-Mart or other places. That is free for the residents. They have a bunch of activities where they bring in singers, comedians or magicians. They have bingo and other exercise programs.

Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens was my second choice, though the memory care section was probably the best of all the locations. I thought they have a great, very well organized programs that were easy for guests to come in and relate to all the people. They have a shadow box in front of each individual resident’s quarters which tells their life story and gives people an opportunity to immediately make conversations and talk to people, which I really liked. They have all types of transportation there, like a limousine as well as a bus that will get you to the doctor and back. There’s one large restaurant downstairs and a small restaurant on every floor at the end of the hall where the residents can go rather than having to go all the way down to the main restaurant below.

I visited Brookdale, but ruled it out all together because of the apartment. The location was very good, but the kitchen in the apartment was an abomination. The apartment I would rate a two. The staff was fine. I observed a lot of people playing cards, and there was entertainment in the lobby. It was before Christmas. Beautifully decorated lobby for the holidays. I’d give them a four. The only problem was the kitchen.

Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens was too high rise for me. I know the lobby floor was redone. Downstairs was nice; it was just a little busy for me. I thought the person that spoke to us was very friendly. We saw the dogs and cats. They were having like a synonym question where people were sitting in the lobby and they were trying to get them to answer questions. It seemed like it was very stimulating. They have plenty of activities. They do exercise in chairs; they have water aerobics. We would take advantage of the walking, the pool, and the water aerobics for me especially.

Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens was right off PGA, and it was near shopping areas. It was a very beautiful place. It was actually a 5 or 6 story building, and also on the property separate from them was a rehab center and a nursing home. So, it was handy if somebody needed more care of if somebody broke their legs. When you went it, it was beautiful. On the right hand side was a kind of a nice medium size pond with birds, ducks, and all kind of things with a place to sit, and it was only 200 or 300 feet from the main entrance of the building. The thing that I liked was that the first floor was kind of an open space, but there were activities on the first floor like card games. Each of the floor, you had assisted living, independent living, and memory care. I thought the people from the assisted living and independent living people could go up and down on the elevator on their own; obviously, the memory care was a locked unit. From what I could remember, the independent level had various types of independent style apartments. They had small apartments for one person or for two people. The thing that I liked was that Brookdale was throughout the country, and they knew their stuff. I felt that the structure of the organization was really good and solid. Outside was a nice outdoor pool. If you came to visit and you would want to go in the water with your family member, you could do that. It was a park like setting in the sense that there were lots of trees. It was a beautiful setting. I thought it was an expensive thing to do. Also, what I liked was that they had activities for memory care. That's what my mother needed right now, and they had it there, if needed. The facilities were nice and pleasant. It sort of reminded you of a very nice place to walk into, and there were chairs outside. I just found it to be a very inviting place.

I liked the location of Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens. It had a friendly feeling inside as well. The only drawback to me was that they only serve one meal a day. They had a lot of activities like going out to cultural events, shopping areas, and churches. They also offered transportation to doctor's offices.

The visit was nice, and there was construction going on. Everything was nice, but it was not what we're looking for. The rooms were spacious enough.

Brookdale is working well, and everybody is quite helpful. It helps that I was the architect for the building about 30 years ago. I'm getting better service perhaps than some might, but I don't know that for a fact. It is a little bit of a unique situation. All of the things were taken care of from the move in like repainted and fixtures replaced. I'm pleased so far. Everybody has been fine, and I'm enjoying the feedback. The care level is at least what I expected if not more, so I'm quite pleased overall. My mother actually thinks the food is quite good. They are caring people, and they are actually interested. It is working out for me at this point.

My mother-in-law was in the independent living first at Palm Beach Gardens and then assisted living. The staff was accommodating and professional; I had a pretty decent experience there. They have a swimming pool, exercise rooms, card rooms, and a library, and they get three meals a day. It’s really comprehensive; everything is taken care of.

Prosperity Oaks was way overpriced, and in their assisted living, you still have to go down to the main clubhouse to get your food. The thing that I didn't like was one-half of the building was independent living and assisted living, and then its other side was full assisted living where they had to come and get you and take you to your meals or bring your meals or whatever. It was kind of like a glorified nursing home that was all in the same building. The rooms were OK. The staff members were fine, but they were a little pushy.

I live very close at Prosperity Oaks, but I didn’t like all the old people in wheelchairs that were sitting around. The place was nice, the staff showed me around the facility, and showed me what would be my place to live -- which I didn’t like. The room was small, spare, and I decided at that point that this kind of living was not for me.

Caring at Prosperity Oaks is fine. The service is good sometimes and not so good at other times. Some staff members are better than others, but as a whole, they are very good. We have an apartment, and it is very nice. The dining area is very pretty, and the food is basically all right. We are very comfortable living in here, and we've made friends.

We visited Prosperity Oaks. The rooms were very tiny, but we were pretty happy with the whole facility, especially for the assisted living. I like it because it's close to me. Several people from my condo have moved there from here, and they are happy there. I also have a friend, and she loves it there.

My mother chose Prosperity Oaks and is currently working on it right now. Mom likes the layout and the fact that it kind of felt like a hotel and the apartments are fairly roomy. This seemed homey and more open. When we visited, the staff was very accommodating and very friendly. Their dining area seemed nice, and they have variety.

I have just been here at Prosperity Oaks for a week. I'm just getting used to it. So far it's been fine. Everybody has been very friendly. I have a 2-bedroom, and there's never enough room, but I'm managing. I have some sorting out of some stuff to do, putting it where I can find it. I'm working on it in my spare time. I go for dinner and breakfast, and the food is excellent. It's a little chaotic because we serve ourselves, and sometimes they run out of things, but it works very well. I went to the pool today for the first time. They have exercises in the lounge, and I have been to that twice. They had music and dancing two evenings a week, I think. I've been to that once, and then I got so sleepy that I needed to go back to bed. So that was fun. I am in independent living. They have assisted living and memory care here, too.

My sister had a hip replacement and was placed in Prosperity Oaks for recovery. I thought it was a nice and clean facility. It looked pretty well organized. The staff had a good idea of what they were doing. They were sympathetic and they made sure we were comfortable. They take good care of my sister. Her room was nice, clean and spacious. It was a pretty nice, large room. It had plenty of places to sit. My sister liked the food there. She didn't have any complaints. They have sign up boards for different activities that they have. The activities are scheduled for the week. I like their nice walking path outside. It's good for the residents to walk and stroll. Overall it is a good community environment for older people to get together and know each other. Everybody was pleasant.

The only one issue with Prosperity Oaks is that the rooms are way too small. Other than that, it's close to perfect it could have gotten. They had customized care plan, it was a nice layout, and the staff was very friendly. They have a very full schedule of activities. It looks like a nice place to me. It was an older facility, but I know they had talked about upgrading.

I like Prosperity Oaks because it's very close to me about 8 minutes away. It’s a beautiful facility. If dad is there, he could bring in his dog. He would have a screen porch, a bedroom, a bathroom, a full kitchen with everything; living and dining area altogether. I love the pricing of it. If he needs more care, you just pay additional amount of money. The staff who gave me the tour was great and very helpful. The facility was just outstanding. It stands apart from anything else.

My mother lived in Prosperity Oaks before she passed away. She stayed there for 10 days. It was excellent for the little bit that she was there. Everybody was very sweet to her. The staff was just fantastic. They knew that she was in distress and they really looked after her with special care. We picked out this facility because of the location and it was a beautiful place. It was just a mile away from my mother's youngest grandson and an hour and a half from me and her oldest grandson so we were there every day. Mother had a screen and porch and she liked to stay there. She had a nice-sized bedroom and she had her own furniture. There was a kitchen, a bath, and a nice door hallway. The main bathroom had a shower and a tub. It was quite luxurious but of course you paid for what you got. She had two levels of care and it ended up approximately $5200 a month. They had a chef so they served gourmet food. You couldn't get the same quality for the price. They only charged $11 extra for my sister and I to eat there. They had a dining room on each floor. There was also a main dining room which was a little fancier, where you couldn't wear shorts or jeans or anything like that. Too bad my mother never got well enough to go down there.

Prosperity Oaks is in a lovely area. This facility is probably a choice that I would consider. They have programs come in for their residents in terms of activities. However, their staff is not as outgoing as I wanted them to be. Apparently, there is a turnover of the staff there and to me that means they're not happy. They also have Spanish-speaking workers that primarily have not much to do with their guests. Nevertheless, this facility should have an English class for them.

We already chose one assisted living and he is at Prosperity Oaks. We chose it partly because I like the looks of it, but that wasn't only the major factor. I liked it because of the fact that they have a plan according to my long term health care policy. We had to have a nurse that we can call all night and that meant something to me. He has three lovely rooms and he has a small balcony. They have two dining rooms, one on the floor for assisted living and a large one downstairs and he can go either one and they have excellent food. I would exceedingly recommend this place. When hurricane Isaac came a few years back, they evidently had damage and they were able to renovate the lace and it was even lovelier. They have a concierge downstairs and we just call and ask whatever you want to ask and they feed you to the right people. It is extremely well done. I am very happy that they knock themselves out to please people. Every two hours they do observe people and that is important for assisted living.

It is number one, I think. The people have been really wonderful in helping take care of mom. They were right on top of everything. She has breakfast and dinner. We told them not to have it sent to her. We want her to be active and not get bored. Downstairs, there are plenty of activities there. The people are so nice. I would recommend that.

Prosperity Oaks is a great place. This place looks like a hotel. It had independent living, memory care unit, and assisted living. It's a nice facility although we had encountered some billing problems there like mom's telephone got disconnected and we never got the bill to our house. They give the residents three meals a day and the food was good. They clean their room and do their laundry once a week. They have activities. When I visited my mom in there, there was a lot of stuff going on. They had a World War II celebration.

The facility is appealing however the management is aweful. The entire management team seems to be "too Busy" to actually care about the resident's best interests. They are however extremely interested in making sure you are spending every one of your last pennies on the elected care package, The problem is that the employees/aids do not follow through with the care you are paying for. We are extremely disappointed in the care ( lack thereof) we are receiving for my parents. It seems that this "home" is run like a corporate business.

This is a nice somewhat older facility. It is fairly well maintained. They have recently renovated the elevators and seem to work hard to improve the physical building. The staff is very courteous and the activities and numerous and varied. The food is somewhat uneven in quality. The soups and salad are good the meat entrees are sometimes mediocre. The 1 bedroom 1.5 bathroom apartments are spacious and have a lovely design of the living space. It is also nice to have the extra half bath.

My mother lived at prosperity oaks for 3 years and we both were very pleased. the building has both independent and assisted living which worked well for her. She could live on an assisted living hall for extra help, but still enjoy the company and facilities that was offered for the people that lived on the independent halls . She was very smart and had a sweet , fun, kind personality. She enjoyed the lovely dining room for dinners and conversations with friends. She enjoyed the exercise programs in the morning as well as bingo, trivia games, bridge games, and evening entertainment. Her favorite was the weekly butterfly club. The place was pretty and well kept.

I think the physical building is very nice and for the most part well maintained. The activities seem interesting and are varied. My grandmother particularly enjoys the live entertainment. She has been unhappy with the provided cleaning services as she is very particular about the cleanliness of her home. She is only moderately happy with the food. It is sometimes fair and sometimes less than good depending on the day. I have eaten there with her many times. The main problem seems to be the quality of the meat and the care of preparation. The soups are always good.
